India work force reduction (separation) plan

India wfr compensation looks like below.

India separation plan format is :

Total CTC = X

Total monthly salary (Y) = X/12

Daily salary (Z) = Y/30

Number of days of service = A

No of days salary to be paid (B) = A/24

Hence separation payment to be paid = Z * B .

@UJ1h5Ut-rlbe Thanks for starting this thread and encouraging others to share their thoughts. There is a big world outside of DXC and the clowns that run the circus.

I started this thread after being wfr'ed in India. Got three months notice to leave. Got job outside with 30 percent of hike within 1 month. Joined immediately the next company within a week. Hence got good lump sum amount wfr payment plus extra 2 months salary. Happy with that. Guys, get out this, outside world is pretty cool. The current situation at DXC doesn't permit a healthy atmosphere to work. All the best to all of you.

For every DXC employee that is made redundant then Mikey earns a bonus. Who is the winner? The employee cos they leave the wretched company which is doomed.

2auh - I worked with a UK bloke for a number of years who began his CSC career with constant "that's no my job" work avoidance... he subsequently was promoted several times and is still working at DXC as a manager. Says a lot.

2exf - I've no idea if your the poster stating "curry munchers". Im British' white love curry and I've came across UK staff also with the response of "sorry it's not my job" I l do know where your coming from but it's not purely an Indian response so please dont down a whole race on a few bad experiences.

Getting back to the thread we're all in the unfortunate place of being employed by DXC at the moment and looking to try and get out in the most beneficial of ways possible. I wish you all the best in that endeavour also.
