Or not.
Maybe this week.
Yeah. Some small part of your video game and dope fried brains may want to ponder that you are probably already considered old fart obsolete and useless dead wood by the new grads too. If not by your own kids if you are able to reproduce with more than your hand. The reason there are so many old people working at STX is because the smart young guys got better jobs and left. So shut your mouth, contribute, LEAD, and quit giving us the stare like deer in the headlights with nothing to add while you watch us "useless old people" solve all the problems. Let's see you stand up and run the f---ing show. Everybody will let you go ahead and show everybody how dam smart you are and tell us how to fix all the problems. We'll be waiting and ready to follow your lead as our head master.
seagate employees are like waiting for the package while the management might be taking up the extreme measures to force ppl to leave on their own, its a political game of who can last longer under their current work load and pay package =X
@UDIHutL-3rys, I almost had beer coming through my nose while laughing at your post. Was too funny because it is so true.
Let the rif begin at SHK. This place has become a retirement home for senior (citizen) staff and hundreds of "industry vetrans" tripping over each other to attend meetings on the one product left to develop while waiting for the package.
Cut the package and take who's left and consolidate them to NRM. The coding work is cool but HDD's are going away quickly, HAMR is almost a decade late and SSD is being outsourced.
No layoffs soon folks.Seagate will beat the hell out of hdd then the company will gradually shrink then boom!!!! Huge layoffs.
All we are saying....is give RIFS a chance. Well, one thing is certain. This CEO can't tell us about his needing a haircut. ba dum bum.
Let it happen...free the people, free the company.
More false rumours to build up some peoples hopes.Seagate springtown need to start laying off people. At a rough guess i would say that at least 50% of the people in my area would jump at redundancies.
Where did you hear there would be?
