I was told by my store manager that any future lay offs will NOT get any severance . So everybody better be looking for something else NOW.

Just quit.
If I wanted to have anybody fired it would be half of the useless corporate who keeps making all the stupid decisions and then making threats upon the stores that cannot meet their unreasonable expectations.
Membership can be combined with a coupon which can be more advantageous than an employee discount. Many times customers get a better deal than an employee.
Employees can't combine their discount with a coupon or a sale.
Customer can get sale, plus membership discount and then a coupon.
Guess the management troll is back.

I can't address your skepticism. I know the SM is wrong. He/she should be terminated. What's the harm in calling? Do as you wish. If posting on this board makes you feel better than taking action....that speaks volumes. Perhaps you should move on giving your dissatisfaction at work.

They probably just let it slip. The way Barnes is going it's not that big of a surprise.
Makes sense. They probably can't afford the money and subsidized benefits during the severance period.
