Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Layoffs are no longer quarterly, they are monthly

WFR is actually occurring on a monthly cycle in some territories (not quarterly). For example, end of May will see cuts in both US and India that were mandated by leadership earlier this month.

This. People at DXC who keep believing they are safe for a few months after a round of layoffs are only fooling themselves. We are way past the point of quarterly layoffs and well into monthly reductions. Get used to it.

Remember that Mikey wants his pension to be in place and completed by 2020 so he can retire without a care in the world. Note to DXC spies watching this website: why not do weekly layoffs? That means Mikey would get rid of more people quicker!

Whatever story DXC management provide to the clients you can bet that it will be sugar coated with how good DXC is and how the non-performers are getting the flick. I was placed onto the WFR list because I pissed off account management by exposing their underhand deals. Very glad to have left DXC.

After 20.5 years I was notified may 10th that my services were no longer needed. Last day was may 11. Of course no one mentioned it to my client.

8 weeks severance pay, zero retirement benefits.

No transition either. This coming Monday the paying clients will have their day of letting the wise leadership have it.

There are only field services, and datacenter ops people moved over to ESFDS - I'm assuming due to those jobs not being off-shorable.

There are redundancies in ESFDS - there were some in April - you just don't generally find out unless they're in your team.

Can there be anyone left? Not much chat on these Boards lately. Or is that everyone left is happy? Lots of Uk people were moved over to ESFDS last year and maybe all is well in their world. Colleagues who moved over tell me that ESFDS don’t make folk redundant, we shall see.

I know of a couple people in US WFR’d today May 11. Told yesterday gone today. Accounts that didn’t make the unattainable targets forced on to them were forced to eliminate people.

I was told on April 20, 2018 that I was getting a raise. I commented I appreciate the raise but surprised by it with the WFR's going on. My manager said I was safe. My raise was effective May 1, 2018. Then on May 10, 2018 the same manager called to tell me due to cost reduction DXC Technology was eliminating my role and my last day is May 11, 2018. What a let down and play on emotions. DXC Technology is by far the worse company for employees to work for. Low moral, demotivating and just lied to. I hope this company fails soon. But the folks making the decisions will walk away with their bonus no matter what happens to the company.

Yes, managers were discussing today that 20% of the staff needs to be removed in the 1st 4 months (by July end)

These that think they have many years of service will get it with a bang.. a big surprise awaiting ...
