Only in our great company:
1) Engineer predicts a potential problem with environment.
2) Engineer and his supervisor let know account management of the potential problem.
3) Issue is being ignored.
4) Warning is repeated after 6 months.
5) Ignored again.
6) After six months predicted issue appears (in smaller range), workaround is implemented and problem fixed temporarily. New warning is issued.
7) Ignored again.
8) Finally - the problem appears in full scale and account management demands immediate resolution of the problem from the engineer.
9) Case is getting escalated to higher management.
So, Happy Easter to engineers on duty!
I think it's time to "thrive on change"...
