no point posting personal names and problems here. raise a formal complaint again the person if you have a case
he along with other managers are a load of crap. the delivery manager get themselves put into some role or the other and kept themselves safe while kicking out the technical staff.
keeping lower level managers and supervisors is the biggest mistake of DXC in its restructuring

heard that Backup and Storage (BuR) delivery teams have little or no work and they are the ones to be targeted.
On 15th there will be approx 500 persons WFR'd in Bangalore/Chennai from the HPE side.
@SY1Emgs-5dxz : Windows team was approx 25 persons, out of which 12 we WFR'd. They were told that automation had taken their jobs. But she consoled them saying job market is still good outside ..

2 persons approached the manager, and the manager said its better that you search a job now than you get WFR'd later when job market may not be so good.
Also, the percentage of WFR for 2018 is more than double of what was the target of last year, so expect lots of WFR in the coming months.
Moving jobs where cheaper labour.. people losing jobs due to this.. how outrageous...

In December of 2017 a few employees from Puerto Rico were WFR'd.
It is anticipated that this Friday, May 4th as well as June, more Puerto Rico employees will be WFR'd.
No one is safe anywhere from a WFR.
It's all because of money. Puerto Rico employees are paid in US dollars and I believe their salary scale is similar to some US states, but Mexico's peso is very favorable to dollars. That's all that matters for the company. However I do not believe PR is a target for reduction unless someone has evidence to the contrary.
Mexico now that's stupid. Puerto Rico is good because they can work on ITAR accounts and what are the chances of a another large storm ...
