Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Layoffs

Common cents dictates that they will continue to cut 2 times a month. These will not be large cuts. At least, in North American they conduct YE reviews before year-round end close. I have only been here 7 months but found it odd when I heard their YE review process was before close. Almost every other company conducts theirs after as not to interfere with pre-close. To me it is quite obvious that they will be stingy during review and make sure a substantial amount of people get a mediocre to bad review. Then they will use this to release large amounts of people by saying they fell below a certain grade on their review. This also protects them from discrimination and mitigates any law suits. They will just point and say so and so fell beneath our expected level of performance. March will definitely be a blood bath and I am getting my stuff in order to get out before I have to live through it.

"I love when people comment about how a poster isn't using correct grammar. I was sharing information because I know a couple of people that are in the know. I literally typed something up in 2 minutes, it wasn't meant to be a formal memo. Almost every post I see on here has grammatical errors and I don't think people visit this site to review the poster's use of grammar. It is an anonymous website for people to share rumors etc. on. If you are visiting this site to correct spelling and grammar mistakes then you have some big time problems."

Lighten up Francis. Its all in good fun and relieves stress. It's not pacifically directed at you.

I don't think they would stop even if we made a trillion a year, but that's just my two sense.

I’m ex CSC and I’ve been through for the most part 1 layoff round every year, sometimes twice a year. Anyone thinking this is going to go away has their head buried in the ground.

We went through cuts when the company was actually making money. It seems we are making even more money now and with that the cuts have increased NOT decreased.

Lawrie is a greedy sob, don’t expect anything to improve.

They will probably wait a few months and get rid of everyone in one foul swoop.

I hope you are wrong and this is the last of the redundancies. It's been too stressful. I've been hanging on tender hooks.

Ughhh...Killing me smalls....IT IS COMMON SENSE not cents...amazing how we have google and people still bastardize these phrases,,,,

Yeah, this is common (sense)cents. It's a doggie dog (dog eat dog) world after all. We should nip this in the (bud)butt and go elsewhere I think.

To all intensive purposes( For all intents and purposes) this is a mute point. To be (specific)pacific, it is clear that DXC will announce more redundancies on the spurt (spur) of the moment. They are like a (bull)bowl in a china shop. - (A bowl is supposed to be in a china shop). They seem to be intense(Intent) on putting the cat(cart) before the horse. It makes no cents(sense) to me. I'm (biding)biting my time for now.
