Hardly an earth-shattering announcement (maybe for the Americans though?). Meanwhile the WFRs, pink slips and shoulder taps continue.
A bright spark on FB commented that the presenter did not have an approved corporate branded umbrella which is due to corporate funding cuts.

They are announcing a formal sponsorship deal with Penske Racing. Shame they couldn’t use that cash to uplift people salaries instead!
HP sacked Mark Turd as soon as trading ended on Friday 6th August 2010.
I suspect that the 'special announcement' will turn out to be something minor. The FB post does not say the announcement will be AFTER the bell (which would be the case if it was anything that might effect the market), just that there will be announcement on February 23rd and that DXC will be ringing the closing bell.
Besides, companies tend not to make major announcements on Fridays...

But that would require a change at the very top and for the board to vote to install someone else to lead the company with a new growth agenda and to someone to finally step down.
