I see that some folks are posting about Frito Lay - we have a Frito Lay page here and it has no posts - let's move our discussion over there - here it is: &frito-lay or use the full address: https://www.thelayoff.com/frito-lay

The problem is newsflash, if you heard Indra the other day. Frito Lay showed profits, while Pepsi did not losing billions in Q4 last year. So why does Frito seem to be taking the hit? I’ve lost some people on my team and I still may lose mine today despite finishing $2MM above plan. Beverages are dying. People are not drinking soda and that will not change. However, the terrible strategy we’ve seen the past three years at Pepsi, will continue.
Profitable due to price increases. Take a look at your unit sales.
Wish Frito could’ve been left out of this. As much as the rest of Pepsico hates to admit it, Frito stands out in other ways apart from the rest of Pepsico too cough Profitability cough
Agree with @pow - we should stick with a centralized site for all PepsiCo business - makes no sense to further fragment things - it's all interconnected anyway
WOW SERIOUSLY?!?!? This is like PepsiCo's stupid IT department; who works with blinders on and doesnt have any strategy for serving the business. They have lots of systems globally that are all sh-- and none of them talk to one another. These are PepsiCo layoffs; not Frito layoffs. What is next a Frito R&D layoff site and a Tropicana Orange Squeezer layoff site? Why cant we have a centralized PepsiCo forum since this affects everyone?
That's right Frito is special, we all forgot.
frito is still dreaming they are independent
&frito-lay has it's own page
Yes, PepsiCo is the parent company of Pepsi and Frito lay. Know the facts first.
News flash!!! As much as Frito doesn’t like it...it’s part of PEP. I know that’s a hard pill to swallow, but you can down it with your Frito kool-aid.
