I would love if we could actually see some proof of internal hire here. Could everyone who was hired internally after lay off please indicate so? Don’t need to know role - it isn’t about that - I just want to see how much of this help is real versus PR move.

Exactly there are not 1400 jobs....this is all just Damage control on Humana’s end....I am no longer looking internally it is a waste of time....meet all the desirables/essentials and find out “ they already had someone in mind” x3
Has anyone had any luck with other insurance carriers.
@fhg, sadly, it is so complicated and competitive now, you hit the nail on the head, you had so e if desirables, there may be lots of people who had all the desirables.
If you are looking for 1400 care manager jobs you will probably be disappointed.
I have been turned down on every role I have applied for and I had all the essentials and some of the desirables. I find it nearly impossible to get another position.
QlEaX5J-gqp You answered where the 1400 open jobs are on the career site? I would really like for you to answer that questions. Since your response you appear to be someone in a leadership position. I looked in the career site in on the left it shows approximately 434 open positions to include 120 WAH positions.
in a company that employs 50,000 people I don't see why you would question 1400 jobs. They can be anything from cleaner to director.
A PHC got hired in as a social worker under commercial this lay off. While there may be open roles, not everyone laid off is qualified for them
I agree with the OP... Humana media states that there are 1400 jobs available (conveniently that is more than the 1300 they laid off) but when you review our career sites it shows on the right corner that there are about 434 available jobs.. I know the reqs may have more than 1 position availability but come on Humana.. where are the 1400 jobs that you spoke of in the media?
I know of 4 people from HAH employed into other roles. That's since Layoff # 3
Not me personally, but i know someone who was offered a job internally after one of the other layoffs. They declined the position because it was not as good as what they had before.
