Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

It's really sad how badly they mess up layoff announcements

We shouldn't have to live with this kind of stress day in day out. They owe that much to us. Give us a date, if you will not give us the names right away. That would be at least something. November 1 has been mentioned by people before, but so have many other dates as well. And each time, I had to take something for my nerves as i waited to see if we will get any new info. Just tell us already.

There are approval steps at the senior executive level that must be followed. This includes the board of directors meeting which was last week. They aren’t sitting around. They are going through the required steps. This is why it’s unrealistic to think your managers are going to tell you something before formal approval.

@Q2L7iFT-kvb Do you recall the CEO at AETNA spouting off about his YOGA and how he believed Humana and AETNA had compatible cultures?

Agreed. So much for their claim of desiring staff to be 20% healthier and being a "transparent" company. Long term worry and stress worsens current health issues and creates more health issues . In the end it's all about filling corporate pockets.
