Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Layoffs are happening, Allstate is just keeping them on the low

Nobody in my office knew about the amount of layoffs going on in other offices. We haven't had a town hall meeting since the qfc announcement back in the end of last year/ early this year (don't remember exactly when it was. I see a lot of managers in meetings with the big guys and hr, and nobody thinks anything is going on. Now we have the CI team in. People think that these huddle meetings are just daily meetings. Everyone is either in denial or clueless.

You are right, @Ostofih-2tyd. This has been going on for a while now, and it's not about to stop anytime soon. Only question is if it will stay like this, or end up in a major event. Not sure which is worse, to be honest.

Yep, I know of 4 people moving over to NC, crazy how much they plan to consolidate operations and at this speed. I hear total loss will eventually be handled by the doc centers in NC and Texas so it's only a matter of time before more layoffs are done for total loss reps and processors (plus support staff) all over the country

2250 new jobs in Charlotte - at least that many layoffs in more expensive states like CA

So sorry @OuU2F9x-3gwo

I mean it been martyr and doesnt matter so really trying to learn not to kill myself (no not meant to sound likeMs. awesome k? YOLO.

CI is keep driving employees till they die from stress , results never enough, and pit your TEAM against one another. but areny we a "TEAM" it is so untrue and transparency is lie or we wouldnt be talkingon places like this trying to know what the ivory tower GENPACT lovers are cooking up. I really feel like managers have become so negative that all they do is find fault for smallest things.

Where is that reporter suntimes or Tribune? Im in Evanston.

Unfortunately, Allstate sees their employees as a number only. Thuse in the "ivory tower" could care less. Bastards.

I hear you! I did my job and a good job at that. I had better numbers than most on my team, but was that considered. I guess not. Hate I could not have stuck it out for benefits, but oh well, I'm losing a lot of stress when I leave the 14th.

@OuU2F9x-1bwl and @OuU2F9x-1lgk I drank the Kool-aid. I did my job. I skipped meals and breaks. I got above expectations reviews. I ignored the rumors. I defended "my company." And I GOT LAID OFF! Those bastards don't give a damn about anyone.
