This once strong dominant amazing company fall to shambles in the way it has. It used to be the place to be now I am scared for anyone who is struggling to stay on board with them.

We have some whiners here that took their EOI, or missed it and retired early and are jealous now about the guys who are still here.
They want COP to fail in order to make them feel better about jumping ship.
Sad really....they should be enjoying their retirement but spend all day surfing the web posting hate.
To those who are no longer at COP: good for you. Why you still trolling here?

Don't mix emotions with business. Business has no feelings, get used to it if you wish to survive the next 35 years of your career. Or move on

Every other oil company has lost 20% to 50% of their value. COP is tracking oil price and no different than the majority of oil & gas companies. Go find something else to make bad comments about!
@O1xJMCj-nua : After 37 years in the oil business and having gone thru more re-orgs, staff reductions and buy outs than I care to count, I continued my employment with out interuptions. I know when a company is in trouble because I've seen it and been there and done that! So when COP offered a good package to leave, I took it! Not because I was weak, it was because I was smart! Yes, you keep on drinking the stupid juice, because you need that toxic environment, I don't!
@O1xJMCj-nua Guess you have not looked at the revenue and expenses! Bottom line COP is not making any money and has been losing millions each quarter for the last several years. Or did you miss that fact! Pull you head out of the sand! Just today COP announced the sale of the Barnett for 1/3 of book value ($305mm vs $900mm book value). This is the action of a company that is lost. COP is the Pan Am of the oil business!
Conoco still is a strong great company! You are only talking bad about our company because you were weak and did'nt make the cut!
