I may make a bid for Surmont! It may be that COP pay me $50MM - 100 MM USD to take it! I'll accept no environmental issues, no acceptance in libilities for staff reductions, matter of fact I'll accept no libilities what so ever! Guess I'll email RL my bid. For employees, will see if I need any other than a couple of accountants and a couple of shut down specialist!
@zgo: I agree - Suncor wants no part of Surmont. Wishful thinking by a number of disgruntled employees. TOTAL still needs to get fair value as well which would complicate any deal.
