Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Mike Laurie's latest morale boosting b@ll@cks whilst slaying the talent... we should be so happy...lol

DXC Technology Appointments June 8, 2017

We are pleased to announce another 2,600-plus appointments within DXC Technology. These include a variety of roles throughout the organization; most are at the L5 level, along with some L4 roles.

The full list of today’s appointments is available here on myDXC.technology.

The Selection Process Continues

Please join the leadership team in congratulating those named today on their appointments.

We will make an additional announcement early next week that includes appointments in our Sell organization, and another later this month that will finalize outstanding L5 roles. After that, the remaining roles will be shared at the individual organizational team level.

Thank you for your commitment and focus as we continue to build our DXC Technology team.

Not a lot I can do, he changed the team name slightly and gave everyone a slightly different role title but retained the same staff minus UK people.

Every dog has his day, he may have got away with it now but I for one hope that his day will come sooner rather than later for the people he has screwed over.

This role is a direct benefit of being a dumb c--t who's nose is covered in sh--.

Here's a link to a company who deals with illegal redundancies in the UK.

http://www.landaulaw.co.uk/redundancy/

It outlines the law regarding UK redundancies and they also work on a no-win-no-fee basis.

@NGrFszW-6kwe

If you are in the UK and your role was made redundant and if you can prove that Pete Feltcher is now carrying out the same role as you were undertaking before being made redundant then you may want to speak to an employment lawyer as this is illegal in the UK. I know people who have successfully been awarded compensation from cases such as yours. An initial interview with an employment lawyer should not cost you a penny but they will be able to advise on whether you have a case to pursue. If so, I'd strongly advise going ahead with it. Don't let these f@ckers get away with it.

Try and get hold of this Feltcher character's job description and compare it with the one you had.

Good luck.

The HPE UK leadership, even right down to Account level, are appaling. Particularly the ones that came from CSC originally.

Sly yes men and women, hell bent on hitting their bonuses for cuts.

Shocking. Wouldn't piss in their ear if their brain were on fire.

It's also funny how Fletcher managed to get a manager role in a team full off offshore staff, If the team can be offshored why wasn't his role.... blatant evidence of underhand tactics between himself and his boss.

Pete Fletcher, Snr OE&E UK manager made my role redundant, put me down as compulsory redundancy and yesterday I learnt that he he has taken on an almost like for like role that I did. Thanks Pete, you lying xxxxxxx. And thanks to his b---s---ting boss Dietrich who helped facilitate this.

Don't trust any of them, they are like looking after themselves.

Anybody in Europe or the US are kidding themselves on if they think they have a chance of continuing their employment with DXC. All remaining jobs will be going to the cheaper continents whilst the company is ground in to the dirt. DXC has no future. It will not exist in 18 to 24 months. You will not have a job with DXC. The plan is plain to see. The executive "leaders" have an agenda and that is to liquidize this company. They will still patronise you and try and make you believe their lies. That is only because they still need some of us to fulfill current contracts. I've given up with them. I'll take their money whilst I can because it's easy. They are in such disarray, it is possible for me not to even turn up for work and no-one has any clue if I should or shouldn't be in on that day. It's f@cking comical. I'm spending my time studying because being part of this split/merge company f@ckup has set my skills back at least 5 years. They have missed the boat regarding the future of IT. They had no foresight... no respect or competence regarding the talent they have squandered. These executive "leaders" are only in it for the handsome severance packages they will receive. They don't give a flying f@ck about any employee who is not part of their club. They are a disgrace and a bunch of abhorrent individuals.

'The whole leadership team in the U.K. are utterly useless'

Absolutely spot on! Supervisors just above shop floor lever were always superb, with great passion and expertise, with great customer focused delivery, but anyone above that level was absolute garbage with zero knowledge of what most of their staff were doing on a day to day basis!

I've never seen a company go into a tailspin and lose direction and purpose so quickly.

The whole leadership team in the U.K. are utterly useless every man jack of em - a shocking bunch of human triffles - this fits the mould of yes men and women without a shred of honesty and decency among them - all dancing to the twisted tone of the maestro as he nukes more lives and manages by fear and loathing to get the regions to do his execution work - I looked at the opening bell picture and then wiped my a$$ with it - the money this evil crowd have made is sickening yet they are screwing people out of severance to pay for the companies legal cases of which more and more are appearing everyday forget technology this is almost a law firm now. I wonder if we could organise a mass walkout of all staff and noone returns until the senior leadership are removed

'Yes, the so called "leadership" is also lurking behind'

Ex EDS/HPE here, Lurking, that's all that the so called managers ever did, they never actually managed anything, everything was devolved down to the troops on the ground. An absolutely laize fair group of managers I have ever seen. They couldn't even get to you because of permanent travel bans!

This appalling company was kept going by quality people whe were greatly under valued!

Did you notice that most of the 2,600 are from India or Lithuania.

2600 posts are not all leadership posts. Some organisations have few layers. Typically many of the L5's won't have any reports either. They just happen to be L5 because that's where their vertical ends.

Also I happen to know for certain that it's not a proper recruitment process, it's a mish mash of HPE and CSC and a standard case of jobs for friends. My former manager got laid of only to have his role reprised by the guy who rif'd him. So it's politics as usual. Take a bow Mr X of OE&E.

I think Mike had a brain fade with numbers. 2600 WoW, I think is not new hires. It is just new roles or some one replacing someone internally. But what ever be the case, for a total employee strength of 175,000; 2600 appointments at middle management is too high. Around one L5 manager for each 67 employees. Now DXC which boasts to be a lean company has a big fat tummy in the middle. Pretty scared!!!

Yes, the so called "leadership" is also lurking behind to follow this forum.. once in a while they will post "something" so to just throw everyone off the track... you need to avoid "key words" detection... by leveraging special characters ... they will do anything to intimidate the "sponsor" of this forum to have it shut down...this is not surprising...its open forum but be smart when venting...

A fine looking VERY diverse group of ONLY MEN who will fizzle very soon. This should be fun to watch. They lack any kind of real depth in leadership except for combing there hair. First decision should be to close Pontiac.

This team won't last when the next downturn in IT is coming soon. India is now in turmoil. Thank God. DXC is finally getting its long over due misery. DXC and this management team need to pay for all the trouble they have caused all there ex employees. Let em fry now on the bottom line profit. Internally this organization is a real mess.

My heartfelt congratulations goes out to those 2600+ appointees who are doing exactly the same job as they were doing before they were appointed!! Really!!... WTF?

FYI. Here is a list of the untrustworthy f@cktards who's tongues are firmly up Lawrie's a$$

Kind of fitting that their pics are in black and white. There is nothing colorful or attractive about this bunch.

There was always going to be a reorg after the 2 csc and hpe es came together and obviously there has to be job cuts or do people think that 2 people can do the job of 1. The problem is it is not that simple. There are some very good people and then there are seem really very average and often incompetent people but they are treated on a part. Many managers only care about getting the next job up and treat their direct reports poorly usually rewarding the useless team members since boss in most case will be clueless anyway. It all does not do much for morale and then you get this drip feed of a reorg that nobody understands with meaningless titles. It is make it up as you go along stuff.

@NGrFszW-1vwx

So why would Lawrie want us to join the so called leadership team in congratulating you for doing the job you've always been doing? We're to congratulate you because your job title changed? Damn sure you didn't get a wage rise or a bonus, unless you are part of said leadership team.

So, if I'm understanding correctly, Lawrie seems to think that progress is made by changing peoples job titles? Unbelievable! You couldn't make this stuff up. There is something really fishy about the whole thing.
