DXC Technology Appointments June 8, 2017

We are pleased to announce another 2,600-plus appointments within DXC Technology. These include a variety of roles throughout the organization; most are at the L5 level, along with some L4 roles.

The full list of today’s appointments is available here on myDXC.technology.

The Selection Process Continues

Please join the leadership team in congratulating those named today on their appointments.

We will make an additional announcement early next week that includes appointments in our Sell organization, and another later this month that will finalize outstanding L5 roles. After that, the remaining roles will be shared at the individual organizational team level.

Thank you for your commitment and focus as we continue to build our DXC Technology team.

When Lawrie was hired back in 2012 as CSC's CEO....

Can't say I'm a big fan of ML. I am one of many (hundreds?) of employees who worked for Misys. For almost two decades I enjoyed a successful career until Lawrie came in and off-shored and laid off countless high-paid dedicated employees like myself. He replaced us with less skilled cheap workers from India, and even though both lower mgt and customers alike complained, the stock price rose and Lawrie managed to fulfill his ridiculously inflated bonus requirements and then jumped ship as soon as he collected. So he makes many millions while hundreds of loyal workers are left unemployed, and Misys is the worse off for it.

So good luck to the employees of CSC. And watch your back - you might want to get those resumes polished.

Having worked at HP, HPE and now DXC, the shuffling of managerial f@ckwits is deep rooted in their company DNA. Almost weekly, emails are sent out on a company wide basis announcing that a so-and-so manager who no-one has ever heard of has been moved from some -insert insipid job title here- to -insert another insipid job title here- and we should congratulate them on their amazing accomplishment and success. I've never been sure of the reason for this. I for one certainly don't give a flying f@ck about some a$$ kissing manager who's bagged him/her self a salary boost or bonus... who at the end of the day is probably just another useless pawn who is chasing the dollars. There is a whole circle of w@nkers up there who are acting out the Hans Christian Andersen - "The Emperors New Clothes" story.

Agreed, the wording of the statement is somewhat ambiguous... and what you say is probably correct... however it has been crafted in such a way as to make the reader think that DXC is actually being proactive and creating 2600-plus appointments which, in layman's terms, reads as new appointments and not just the shuffling of useless management stooges! So, they are basically shuffling useless f@ckwits from one pointless position to another. Surely this only serves to emphasis the irony and cynicism of the DXC "leaders". It is shockingly depressing.

Not so much recruiting as naming folk in the roles they've been doing for the last 12-24 months. Some names are a bit of a surprise but shouldn't be, given the amount of arse kissing they do. Some names have already submitted resignations, so things aren't filtering up the food chain too quickly.

Congratulations to the 2600+ appointees... you have just entered a nightmare... I hope you are already planning your exit strategy. You will be f@cked over in a matter of months without a shadow of a doubt. I would strongly advise not accepting any permanent position that this company offer you. Do some research and read the stories of other "lucky" people like you. If you are going to work for them, do it on a freelance basis... contract yourself and your skills to them... make them pay top dollar for your expertise. Take their money and run. Just saying :)

I hope everyone joins the "leadership team" (pmsl) in congratulating those named today on their appointments. Just don't tell them their appointments will probably only be for 6 months or less. Shhhhhh ;)

So, they have literally just slashed a few thousand jobs this month and are now recruiting... wtf is going on here? I guess they are recruiting in the more economically viable locations. Oh how satisfied and proud they must feel. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see the philosophy of this downward spiraling f@ckup of a company. I am quite sure Mike and his buddies will be jumping with their golden parachutes within the next 18 months. The disrespect and contempt of loyal employees by management is frankly revolting. So sad.
