Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

If I am terminated before my 2 year relocation agreement is up, will I have to pay back a pro-rated amount? I'd expect no, but you never know...

What if employee takes VSP. Do they still have to payback moving expenses?

No... you are under a legal contract and cannot be harmed financially by agreeing to a relocation assignment. The assignment itself can be shortened, but you would not be required to return any monies already paid to you.

Nevermind... I found the contract and here is what it says:

The Company will not require repayment of any Relocation Assistance where my employment is

terminated for poor performance or reasons beyond my control such as a reduction in force, reorganization, divestiture or disability.
