I would like to sue them and I need to find an attorney in Oklahoma City who will litigate. I am open for a class action as well. I am sick and tired of seeing them run away with millions while they terminate us, the folks who built this company. They say one thing, and they do something else. It's time to litigate and I have plenty of issues to bring up, that's my least problem right now, they are guilty on so many counts!!!

not sure if I 100% agree with @nug but the fact is that we had almost 4000 people see this layoffs.com page in last 4 hours. maybe we can agree that there is some interest about the topic?
If it was this simple (we hired you, we can fire you at any point in time) you'd have no legal professionals practicing employment law. We'll see how things shake out but if cuts are made they need to be conducted according to the existing legal standards. Now Ayn Rand fan boys would want you to think it's a simple contract, but in fact it is not and this has been proven over and over again.
I left on my own a few years back so I have no horse in this sad race. Yet, knowing how how the boys at the top operate, I would not be surprised if they were to stretch those legal standards up to the point where suing Devon would actually make sense.
If you are in management at Devon there is a 98% chance it is because you kissed the right asses not because you in any way earned it.

If they had been truly discriminated against, then why are they just now talking lawsuit? And don't give me the "because they were here for the company" crap. They were here to make bank and now that the gravy train is ending they are trying to find a way to extend the ride.

Ever read Atlas Shrugged? You didn't build squat. You made a deal with a company to sacrifice income potential for security and less risk (entrepreneurs vs employees). They never told you there would be zero risk. The only way to avoid the risk of being laid off completely is to build your own company, create your own value. Of course there's other risks associated with that... I suspect you would want someone to sue for that as well.
