A Help Request

Hello All,

I need help… I am a retired BP IT employee and I’d like to start an O&G Layoffs group on Facebook – with quite a bit of spare time on my hands I can help folks organize and exchange information. I think I can kickstart this by inserting news about the group into Facebook feeds of US and Canadian O&G companies.

To do so, I need a comprehensive list of NA O&G companies and I wanted to see if someone can point me to a web resource where I can scrape the info. I can get about 100 companies here on Layoffs.com but I was thinking about after medium and small companies as well (it looks like they only have the largest companies here).

Let me know if you have any additional suggestions and if you can point me to the list…

Good luck herding 12,000 company sites. About 98% of them will not get a single look. Total waste of time. Just stick to the majors and a handful of O&G service companies. Your time will be better spent.

@FTDXMzx-urt be nice to our retired fried - he politely asked for help from folks who were willing to provide it. He also said he was after O&G, not BP, so posting here is appropriate.

OP - here is a good one - it has 12,000 companies, mostly in TX (about 80% of them) but you'll be able to find some companies in OK, LA and CA as well: http://www.rrc.state.tx.us/media/6197/ogdirectoryxl.zip

Hey guy, I think you can find a better use of your time. If this site didn't beat you to the punch already, I'd be thanking you for the effort. But frankly, this site is good enough. Besides, I hate Facebook. They track your activity too much. Try to come up with another master plan and go back to BP. This site is for Chevron feedback only.
