The FY20 Year-End Performance Review process has officially started. If we don't see salary increases for people who exceed at least some of the expectations,
I am afraid we will see a lot of good people leaving on there own. I for one will either leave on my own or my work will slow down.
For me based on a normal company giving a minimum of 2% increase a year (past employers always gave me at least 6%) , I am $15,000 down since being with DXC.
Know of atleast one account , where the Chief Architect is a glorified/Sr Developer. Who is also writing custom code, code promotion etc. with no documentation to share. Pathetic to say the least. Waiting for the firesale , cant happen soon enough !

Developers are now Solution Architects, and their job title changes on a weekly basis.
The pseudo Solution Architects (as a result of title change) acknowledge that they are not Solution Architects and are unable to design anything of merit.
Graduates are being touted as experienced Project Managers, when the said graduates have no to minimal experience.
All this points to massive incompetence and reasons as to why DXC is unable to deliver quality outcomes. A former DXC colleague of mine now works on the customer side and enjoys watching DXC squirm when they are caught out lying on a regular basis.
ML is lounging in one of his two Palm Beach estates on the backs CSC/DXC/HPE workers. He viewed his role as a means to leverage a large corporate company as his retirement asset. He never had an interest in growing the company or fairly compensating his employees. Instead he took that money through his stock options. Lawrie was a fraud simply, but now a rich retired fraud. He gives capitalism a bad name.
I remember those days at CSC where year on year no pay rises. I was looking at my previous CSC payslip and since we have moved to AT&T my payslip has gone up by nearly half again. We get cost of living rises and bonuses every year wheter we work hard or not. In fact as DXC keep losing customers we end up doing less for the same pay.
I feel embarrased working alongside DXC collegues who i have been working with years hearing them say they are not even getting cost of living rises and are having to work a lot harder due to the quartery WFR's.
Mike Salvino sounds like a decent bloke but until he shows he is fair and delivers on pay i dont think his Technolgy Stack idea will work as staff are so demoralised. Its in our interest for DXC to do well, but luckily since moving to AT&T my retirement funds look alot healthier than they ever would under CSC and am looking to retire 5 years earlier.
As it stands I wouldn't bother with a DXC appraisal no point no pay.

I’ve been with this company now 10 years and haven’t had a raise in 6 and only reason I got that is because I emailed HR with complaints 🤷🏻♀️. S—s to work your butt off for nothing.
I heard 3 good people leaving all fed up. One has a job already lined up and others are applying. Be left with grads running the ship then leaving once experienced. What a disaster of a company $20billion turnover and no appraisal pay reviews, how can you run such a company, what sort of talent will you attract except for dead wood. Good luck Mike S you just need 2 years and you'll have enough million in the bank.
That's where your wrong " no training". We can take lots of classes, but there is no time in our schedule to take a class. Projects and Day to day activities are already so far behind because of being short staffed and the incompetence of Managers , Project managers , Architects and even a bunch of the technical staff.
Get rid of two in a box and have a functional manager that knows his/her area and can either run the department or at least delegate to people under them to do the work.
I am sick of this place and think it might be best for my health to just quit. I give it 6 months so I can purchase some large items, put away a little more cash (already have 8+ months Salary saved in the bank for what may be a long time between jobs)
What a waste of time, just do the minimum if they are treating everyone like monkies, i bet the upper management will get bonuses and rises somehow they are the only ones who deserve it every year. They are the only ones seeming not paid market rates. What a joke of a company with so many people lied to every year.
Since I was just told by my leader (Executive) that its going to be just like the last review. No increase/bonuses and forced rankings.....good luck all

I am trying my best to get out by the end of June. I have slowed my work down to the minimum I must do in order to keep my job (until I can quit on my own terms!). If I get paid a minimal amount then I work a minimal amount.
ML benefited immensely from the process that made him rich at the expense of hardworking DXC employees that are paid a pittance. Spot the injustice!
A stellar review still leaves you as a WFR candidate. Oh, and that's the good part.
Why don't they get rid of this useless process which servers no purpose. Don't think anybody will treat it seriously this time if there's no pay rises.
Wasted so many man hours.
Trying to get feedback which no one can be bothered to give, meetings which people don't have time for and serve no purpose, and updates to paperwork for the sake of it.
Even managers are sick of it and the nonsensical deadlines and processes which have no end result.
Mike s either make it worthwhile for staff with a rise and incentive so that the process has some purpose or do yourself a favour and get rid of the process and save yourself a thousands of wasted man hours.
Don't bother be the same trash as years gone by - no training, no wage increases just more work after they WFR your colleague and shifted it to lower cost centre = worse service
