Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

UK redundancies

Has anyone heard about q4 redundancies in the UK? Steve Turpie certainly didn't rule them out in his Town Hall call last week.

DXC is a nightmare of lies top to bottom. Delusional in the hands of accountants thinking they know how to run a business. Arrogance, back stabbing, lying to its people, customers, and total lack of people management skills. Talking mental health and diversity while neglecting it entirely. DXC should be sc-apped. Hearts of stone.

@1bxn is 100% a grad buying into the lies, and thinking they're worth something. Good look sweet pea.

I have been spefically told there will be no WFR's in the UK. The company is ready to invest. As for shower of s—comment, they have aready gone, hence the WFR.

What is happening to the staff based on the MoD contract in Gosport? Another big renewal lost.

Meanwhile in Australia DXC is hiring people as contractors and then either not renewing contracts (aka the better people leave) or converting to permanent staff (aka dunderhead clowns join the circus troupe).

DXC is a pathetic failure that just needs to die.

@prq they've done this consistently over the years. They hired tonnes of people at the end of 2015 and made the vast majority redundant over '16, '17. No redundancy payout for people who haven't been in service for 2 years or more.

Basically using it as a way to fill roles that would typically cost them more via Contractors.

Yeah I don't understand that why are they hiring when they are actually losing customers. Just seems more ovehead. If you pay your existing staff fairly you will get more productivity and better service from improved morale.

They are actively hiring staff in the UK at present. I'm considering going back to my old job there as I miss my old colleagues and the customers I worked with.

Too many grads everywhere who don't have a clue. You need good experienced people and some grads. No point employing hundreds who then cant do anything. As for wfr who cares anymore.

Leeds should be sent to the sc-apheap. Rubbish grads, and old deadwood.

it's the usual pattern by CSC and now DXC to have regular WFR in UK and Europe - won't be a presence soon.
