For those thinking of ever working for Windstream a bit of information they try to avoid mentioning.
From 2016 to 2019 Social Security increases (COLA) total 6.7%. In comparison, the vast majority of Windstream workers paychecks have only increased by 3.0% to account for inflation.
Except for the executives and their cronies of course - CEO got a 24% increase in just one year and between his contract renewal, 2 million dollar renewal 'sign-on bonus' and the potential of a 10 million additional bonus from KEIP - the CEO is likely to more than double his take home this year after driving the company into CH11. Bankruptcy is a Good Thing as the CEO likes to say and I can now understand why he thinks this way - $$$$$$$$
Now why would you ever want to go to work for a company that treats their employees in this fashion??
