@blqm Serious question - what "incentivisation" do you want? It's well known that pay rises at DXC are (almost) unknown so that should have been no surprise, and you say that money isn't everything and your pay isn't bad, so what is it you want?

My manager told me I "exceeded all expectations" i.e. the top grading he could give. What was my reward? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Money isn't everything (and my pay isn't that bad) but it is clear that there is absolutely no incentivisation at DXC.

Plenty of negatives being added as reviews on DXC but plenty of false positive reviews (same language, same review, written many times on the review site). When new Mike going to get a grip and do something about the sad state of the company or is it so bad and late there's no savior

Exit process is quite slick. My payoff arrived on time.

Always a positive

Good points @11t04RTw-2yot

Having bad and lazy managers who ride the fame of success from others are the real issues at DXC which bring around to your no 6 - having to ensure bad processes = no change within the company to improve its bad reputation and image.

New Mikey needs to do a top to bottom reorganisation removing inefficiencies from the company and one area that needs purging is 4 & 5 on your list 'Ineffectual and bullying management'.

Great place to work if you are a new Project Manager, you can get others to do your job and just sit on your arse all day being useless.

This Just shows that DXC is so desperate to find new employees that really want to stay rather than the masses that cannot wait to leave. The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Positives of working at DXC:

  1. receive no pay increases for increased productivity
  2. having to listen to management BS
  3. having to forcefully participate in performance reviews which achieve nothing
  4. having useless managers that do didly squat
  5. having useless managers that are lazy
  6. having to ensure bad processes
  7. having no career improvements
  8. being forced to work ridiculous hours with no compensation
  9. no free or subsidised parking (unless you are promoted beyond your abilities)

10 having to use bad corporate software that are not properly or sufficiently integrated with legacy software from previous takeovers

  1. having to work with lazy people

The fact that they have to ask says it all.

The company still s—s. Nothing has changed as of yet. Make the company earn positive reviews by their actions going forward. If senior management continues with the policies of the past, keep writing negative reviews.

1/ DXC provides free air for all employees irrespective of pay grade. - Loads of free stuff!

2/ At DXC, youngsters and even the intellectually challenged can and do regularly hold senior positions often inviting others from distant shores to lead projects, no discrimination, even if not able to speak English. - Equal opportunities employer!

3/ The company Facebook ensures nobody is excluded, anyone can get involved posting or reading lovely stories all day. - Fully inclusive employer!

4/ Rewards and recognition schemes a plenty, e-badges, lists of names mailed around by execs and some even get a 'pat on the back' from a stranger! - Unparalleled compensation in the industry!

Sure this is pressure from Management to potentially write false reviews of the company (fraud) and is strategy to knock down negative reviews and push up the overall percentage of the company + CEO.

Also loosing credibility to Glassdoor as having inpartial and truthful reviews - they should knock the overall percentage to 0% along with CEO and suspend until further notice any new reviews.

If I was still in this dire company I wouldn't write one any case and would write my review (truthful) at point of exit being WFR in the next round of redundancies.

So they want positive reviews, eh? That'll be a short list then.

Anyone who posts honestly will have few positive points to make. Indeed, as it stands I can't think of any.

I have put my review on DXC on Glasdoor - totally voluntary, and without being asked even !

  • - the only thing is, it was not positive.

Ha! Well, my positive review would read:

I am positively delighted I don't work in that hell-hole anymore.

Would rather be honest than lie through my teeth

Zero pay rises even when you constantly outperform
No work from home option
Constant threat of redundancy
Lack of direction from management
Technical teams under constant pressure with no new hires being brought in to even the workload

Ignoring the irony of posting that question on layoff.com, what I would write would be a long list of things. But if we want to keep the thread positive, I would say:

  • flexible-working;
  • home-working;
  • a chance to work with some large clients;
  • an opportunity to gain some initial real-world experience (if you are a grad); and
  • The benefits package is comparable, to what I've seen elsewhere.
