It’s been 12 days since Mikey 1 was fired and Mikey 2 took over. The only good thing is that we all won’t be hearing from Mikey 1 anymore. But what is Mikey 2 doing? What has he learned? What is he saying?

The news is that Jo is getting the flick. Good riddance!
Nothing new the same b—s— every day getting ridiculous More outsourcing of our jobs to our vendors soon DXc will be nothing more then I name Will have the Board of Directors a few managers and everyone else working for the company will be contractors from our vendors
I have been working at CSC/DXC for more than 15 years. In the last 10 years all managers above L5 have actually told only fairy tales. They live in an illusory world that has nothing to do with the real situation of the company.
Any single person here who believes anything Mr S says is deluded. You will, I promise look back in 12 months and regret drinking the Koolade, and eating the b—s—, these people don’t be care for you or anyone.
@11bkbxAv-2lmi if you listened to what he said you'd understand that DXC is not about a handful of Ukrainian coders selling a hundred hours of keyboard bashing for $1000.
He talked VERY clearly about it being complete systems delivered to customers and then using the data in those systems to highlight business insights to our customers to make their businesses function better.
I guess you were too busy being a git(hub) to notice.
Go back, have another listen.
We'll see over the next months if he's going to change things for real.
But what he tells sounds quite promising. He'll definitely expect performance but if he's willing to honor that, that's fine with me.
I don't know if anyone expected an immediate payrise or company wide training for everyone in the first 2 weeks. That's not going to happen. But I'm willing to give him credit to improve things.
Employee's lifes will only improve if we succeed in the market.
I
Eds is a dead business Ito is a dead business BPO is a dead business
I don't want to be in this business
I don't want to be at the bottom of the pyramid
why isn't this guy talking about the top of the pyramid something innovative like the acquisition of luck soft and the future not taking care of you old farts let me cut your steak
He was in the Dallas, TX area today meeting with employees and clients. There was Q&A with employees. His views remind me of the old EDS days. I'm going to stick it out a few more months to see if he delivers on his promises. He's not a fan of giving business to contractors. He is a fan of allowing managers to thank their employees without requiring exec approval. Think dinner for 2, evening out, gift cards, etc. Brighter days may be ahead. Time will tell.
If you listen to all of the sessions he did (they are all available internally) you will hear him talk about "love letters" on them all. Its his little spiel he's worked up.
I think more telling was when on one of them he was asked "what are your plans?" and he snapped saying "weren't you listening the last 10 minutes??!". It was a definite snap...
He mentioned that he was reading employee feedback and asked to keep it positive. But then later referred to the feedback as reading the "love letters" from staff. That one comment illustrated a level of possible contempt that personally damaged my willingness to stick with the company. It was a small slip. But it has bothered me ever since. If they truly wanted to earn my trust, a live voice Q&A with the gent that was on one of the calls last year that was respectful but could ask followup questions would do a lot to help me. Filtered one-way communication is no better than what we had before.
I'm trying to keep an open mind, but it's hard to do when the playbook is not published and nothing has actually changed.
Meet the new boss.....same as the old boss.
He said mass layoffs was a mistake...but wouldn't talk about layoffs of old people
If you are old with old skills you got to retool or you gone
His playbook came from Mackenzie same like mine
All talk and much (in)action. Meanwhile the WFRs continue unabated.
He's busy running around meeting the troops and telling people about his playbook.
I'm guessing we won't see any action for a little while yet.
He is saying the right things, like people matter but so far no action.
