Still waiting for real action rather than empty words that are coming out of Sal's mouth.

Forcing Jo to retire (aka being WFR'd) is because of Sal cracking the whip.

NO it doesn't all new CEO's bring in there own top people. Sal isn't cracking anything, just sending out bull sh*t. Give all employee's that exceed expectations in last years reviews a increase in salary now!

If our new CEO was real he wouldn’t wait for year end to reward his employees that have received good grades on last year’s performance reviews. Him not doing anything means it’s the SOS and we are getting nothing for working hard. Well mo more 60 hour weeks for me, try to keep it down to 40 - 45.

Nothing will change. You will be told that you should be a good employee and work hard, until they don't need you anymore and you're fired.

@2ujr Sadly none of this will happen, and some of it COULDN'T happen for various reasons.

Cutting L2 salaries wouldn't actually make that much difference - there aren't many earning seriously big money.

Salesmen wouldn't wait years to get the majority of their commission - it's just not the way it works in the industry.

Corporate travel is a perk for the higher-ups and doesn't actually cost THAT much in the grand scheme of things. Likewise corporate jets.

Having senior execs go 'back to the floor' has been tried numerous times over the years. They do it, tell everyone how enlightening it was and how much respect they have for people at the coal face...and nothing changes.

There ARE potentially big savings to be made in the L4/5/6 ranks. There are few L2s but there are thousands of L4/5/6s sitting on large salaries and it's not clear what they actually do. Filleting those layers of management would save a considerable sum.

Indians suffer, no they shouldn't. They should start there own tech companies. American jobs shouldn't be lost to India the same as American manufacturing shouldn't be lost to China.

We see it all the time most Indians can't debug out of a soaking wet paper bag, if its not scripted they are lost. And all the time, DAT's not my job. Bull c-ap is what we get.

Please ignore @2mbn ‘s lame attempt of driving a wedge, it’s clear that OP is talking about locations, not nations.

Sal's to do list:

  1. All L1 managers get a 20% salary cut and the savings are given to long-suffering DXC employees;
  2. All L2 and L3 managers are forced to reapply for their job. They need to prove they they are providing value for money and cutting red tape;
  3. Cut all the BS processes at DXC.
  4. Eliminate Bionix which achieves nothing
  5. Enforce changes to salespeople commissions to be 25% on successful sales and 75% upon on time and on budget delivery, along with high quality outcomes for customers. If any of these criteria are missed by more than 1% then the total commission is capped at 25%
  6. Cut corporate travel for higher-ups and make them use Skype for Business.
  7. Sell off corporate aircraft.
  8. Force all L3 and higher managers to undergo compulsory training that includes no BS.
  9. Force all L3 and above managers to spend at least 1 week working with workers at the bottom of the food chain so they see the outcomes of their inane decisions.
