Oracle now apparently has a new vision statement, something about data, unveiled by His Highness LE himself. What a F:ing waste of time. Talk about being totally detached from reality.
Oh, yeah, that’s what as missing - now with the new vision statement everything is on track again. Bone heads

A bunch of 70+ year olds setting the direction of future technology for coming generation, that is how you mess the new generation or better if you collapse and not pollute the ecosystem
Only one who matters starting to think of future, foundation and being known as a Ford, Carnegie, in philanthropy. Needs money not tied to him in volatility.
Acquisition does that.
New brand is jumble no one knows who or what and will fit anywhere, what's left by then. Microsoft?
it doesnt matter how you F;ck your customer'a a$$, it will bleed any shade of red. customers don't like blood pouring out of their a$$hol
Well, Oracle has lost the game. Amazon is 25 years old, LE is 3 times that. Technology is moving in one direction where as LE is moving in a complete opposite direction. The whole thing might collapse like a house of cards soon.
@1awt - much easier to put some lipstick on the pig than to do something fundamental about the pig being a pig :(
@1159RGX9-1eym Right, and seeing all this love being in the air I wonder if it is going to Microsoft...
Your being sold, could take 5 years. Remember the StorageTek Power S in purple? Or the Sun Micro SUNW to JAVA stock ticker change?
New logo = trying to sell Oracle, you should be okay.
Can't we just do basic blocking and tackling first? Isn't that what customers really want? Who gives a baker's F about AI expense reporting tools when the UI takes 60 seconds to load?!?!
I seriously dislike the new logo and branding colors - looks like brown s**it smeared over blood.
And a c-appy new logo to go with the delusions. No more big red!!!
