@10ZClo5s-gyw - won't make a difference at all - the company will limp on, WFR more and more people before it's final break up and sale.
This CEO is likely to be in the same mould as Mikey - so don't celebrate as nothing positive will come about with this tainted company.
Internal email says:
• During his seven-year tenure as Group Chief Executive of Accenture Operations, a 100,000-person global organization, he modernized and transformed its operations business into a growth platform – building a market leader, consistently achieving double digit growth, and building an environment that focused on acknowledging, recognizing, and rewarding people.
What is rotten inside doesn't go away just by cleaning the outer shell. See the following news announcement from,
Chair of the Board's Nominating Committee.
Lawrie and the DXC board began discussing succession and planned retirement about a year ago. With his support, the board began a process to identify and recruit his successor.
“We want to thank Mike Lawrie for guiding DXC through its successful integration and initial phase of transformation,” Singh said. “During his tenure, DXC became the world’s leading, independent end-to-end IT services company and built significant digital capabilities to help DXC execute its strategy. We look forward to his continued leadership during this important transition.”
Lawrie is only chairman till end of 2019. Then he will lose all roles!!!
It's about f...ing time they got rid of ML. He's overseen a 70% decline in the share price, and should have been sacked for his complete mismanagement of the company. Completely driven it into the ground and got rid of a lot of the people that are needed to deliver on most accounts.
Big deal. The board kept Lawrie around. Why isn't Salvino just as scummy? And anyway, even with a change in CEO does anyone here who left DXC want to comE back? Not me; the people who implemented Lawrie's awful processes and ideas are still there. So nothing will change for years.
Got to assume the CFO is next
Lawrie tucked tail and scampered out the back door once he realized he was in danger of losing his place as Prez/CEO/Banana Republic Dictator. The SOB should have been taken to task by the SEC and locked up for fraud. Instead, he slinks away into the shadows... suitcase full o' money tucked under his greedy arm... laughing all the way.
I can only hope that this will lead to some positive, meaningful change, including also getting rid the outside consultants and a number of the current senior executives who have perpetrated the company’s horrendous policies and practices.
There will be many celebrations. Finally we are being freed from his management which has lead DXC to no longer be an organisation that staff want to work for.
