To everyone here, What keeps you in Oracle?

In India, I I can get pregnant the sixth time around and work-from-home with that as alibi for 3 years for each pregnancy. So I can keep working from home till my first kid in college. IN between I can reply to few mails in the morning and in the evening. If required I can take a call while washing utensils, feeding the kid, or while cleaning up after my dog. My team does not mind while there is a sound of pressure -cooker or utensils clinging in the background. It is basically a EMI that I get for sending a few mails.
This is fake, the admin should take this down. No one would identify themselves this way. There is a lot of anti-female sh– that goes on at Oracle. I expect this is an attack on someone.

I stayed for the work/life balance. Best part time job you can get!

Don't sell yourself short. Get current on the skills you use and learn some new ones and you can. Believe me, I felt the same way. It's no fun and requires plenty of extra effort, but you can do it. I did, so can you.
If you forward your phone and reply to a few emails, probably no more or less than anyone else. The bar is set pretty low there.
I don't think I can get a job anywhere else.
Id actually be curious how long it would take to get fired if i just stopped coming to work.
You can do absolutely nothing or maybe count dots on the ceiling and get a decent salary and benefits. There are those annoying status meetings but most people just give the same status every time.
Belch, keggers
because no one will fire you, and if they do, it's because they hate you as a person
Yup. A lot of scam divisions at Oracle.
Many can go years without being discovered.
It was easy and good pay to work ratio.
Had an exit strategy for 2 years regardless.
Got caught in the layoff net at 1 year. CA warn act and severance puts me at almost 3 months severance total. Not a bad payout for such a short time.
And the layoff was entirely justifiable, can't blame Oracle. The was no future for the LOB.
It took 4 years for O to RIF us that were doing abso nothing. There is a good chunk sitting around just like us. What a waste. I’m happy with my severance working for 20 yrs.
I can easily find a job and I don't want to miss out on the severance. Work is very light.
Paycheck, close to retirement, inertia. That about covers it.
There is also the siren call of the package should I get RIF'd.
Hoping to be made redundant. :D :D
Nah ive made plans to leave. Just waiting on the new contract to be sent out.
Now the idea scenario is to be made redundant before that happens.
At 60+ I learn as much as I can that Oracle pays for, and the paycheck.
retirement. I am 7 months away.
Waiting for RSU to vest
I am overpaid and work about 10 hours a week.
Booze and broads keeps me cumming back for more.
