Is any position safe at DXC?

People with pictures 🤗 and the legal team who win lawsuits.
@10FBJBhC-4ixe: better to chop off the balls so they can't reproduce.
No one is safe...
Have you seen the share price? The company is seriously undervalued right now. That is not a god thing. How long before DXC no longer exists?
Funny you say they need HR. They were the FIRST to go. There used to be a good HR team that was available to answer questions and effectively on-board new hires. Now, I think 3 people support all of AMS. They contract with a horrible off-shore agency to poorly answer HR questions. HR is definitively NOT safe. Billing, AR, Finance...they've all been cut, often to the massive detriment of financial transactions and client relations. Just to set up a project went from about week to sometimes more than a month due to errors and communication delays. This company won't just cut off its nose to spite its face...it'd cut off its whole head.

Join the HR organization; they have a heavy workload letting people go. It's the only organization that Mikey needs to accomplish his goals as a the ships captain throwing thousands overboard!!!
CEO that's it!
Leaving DXC after 8 months!!! Was probably the worst experience of my career as a developer. Had no idea the company was in such disarray.
Yeah, only safe positions are CEO and likely CFO. Honestly think even Mason would likely be sacrificed to the god of EPS if need be.

No, no-one is 'safe' at DXC. People working in security (a self-confessed 'hot market') were ring-fenced but even that went by the wayside a couple of months ago.
At the lower levels it's simply a numbers game and people are made redundant regardless of role. At the higher levels it's a question of following Lawrie's edicts to his satisfaction otherwise he will get rid of you, so even being senior offers little protection.
@10FBJBhC-doa the golden grads are about as protected as you can get, but tell that to the unlucky ones based out of Chesterfield.
Only two:. Lawrie and his chief steak cutter!
No. Perhaps the grads in the DTCs for now, but as they still struggle to get utilisation of the DTCs over 50% even that is not very safe for long. CEO may hang around for a while but he's not that safe if stock stays in 30's or drops down to the teens.
