No need to lie company did away with double time years ago
Your 3 for 7pm-7am is actually $1
You personal days are vacation/pto
not a holiday
Sunday is scheduled day is not time and a half
You do realize the company is going to less people more coverage which means shifts with Sunday/Thursday off(already have them most places)
11:30am -8 pm wake up DA

You can believe all that if you want. Sunday is premium. 1 1-2.
The holidays we don’t get are personal days taken as vacation.
Our 7-7 premium is over 3 dollars.
Double is after 9 hours if mandatory and after 15 if voluntary.
Not sure where your at but you may want to try to get a copy of the legacy qwest contract. Sorry you got a raw deal DA.

"Keep in mind that a no vote will allow the company to lock you out. if the union did not negotiate adequate improvements it might be time to get an adequate union. "

Not likely and certainly not yet, they call it negotiations, they did some and now are bringing it to the members, if we say no they go back to the table to negotiate in good faith on the issues, if there is a stalemate many times a mediator is brought in to help NEGOATIATE, they can extend current contract till they reach a settlement, they can ask we work under current contract with no contract till a new one is in place.

Lock out and Strike are last ditch, not the next step. These are done when there is no more negotiations scheduled and either side see themselves at an impasse.

If you look at Company healthcare contributions in 2015 they paid $767/2wks for family coverage. Now the company contributes $770/2wks. A $3 increase over 5 years. During the same time employee contributions went from $49 to $390 starting Jan 2020. Our last contract was terrible. If this one has any more increase vote NO.

“Did you bargain for no lay-off for 3 years after merger or buy out
At least $3 extra/Hr for split shift pay
Any schedule after 5pm is 1.5x pay
Friday after Thanksgiving off
Christmas Eve off
Sunday double time
If not I will negotiate for you”

You know we already pretty much have all that right?
Not worried about a lay-off unless they shut the doors and in that case your deal will be void anyway.
Already get differential from 7PM-7AM. Over 3 an hour
Anything after 8 hours is time and a half and double time.
Don’t get Friday after Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve off. But do get them as personal days that give me 28 days of vacation a year.
Sunday’s are time and a half.
Don’t need your help. Thanks for offering though.

"2% increase in wages and no increase on healthcare premiums is what I’m hearing but we’ll definitely find out tomorrow. "

Is that per year? Life of the contract? If life of the contract how long or is this just an extension ?

2 percent a year?

These items are kind of important.

Where’s all the “Company won’t even come to the table because they are gonna break the union guys now”? From what I’m hearing this tentative agreement isn’t great but isn’t horrible. We will have to see what the membership as a whole thinks?

Brothers and Sisters
As we celebrate this historical moment let’s remember times are hard so we all may lose a little now but we are thinking of the future we are in good faith that the next contract will be the best ever so let just make due with this one and remember dues are going up daddy needs a raise

“Good job I think they bought it”

If they are offering 2% see what they are taking away nothing is free and the union backhanded dealers will only tell you what they think you want to hear read contract yourself and compare it to your last couple
Vote for what you want not what the union says you want

"This limited negotiations has kept our current protections in our collective bargaining agreement in place"

So what protections are we talking about a VSPP offer before a surplus ?

Or the right to have Union representation so they can collect dues?

I see nothing in this statement worth voting yes on so far, yes waiting to see the actual negotiations but this sounds more like a please let us stay versus were protecting the workers and looking for a gain in something after helping the Company out for so many years not pushing issues.

So you think you’re getting screwed by your union leadership, unhappy about the tentative agreement. Here’s an idea...vote them out! Vote no on the contract. Stan duo, do something. Or you can just b–ch anonymously here, your call.

The monthly premiums for LQ represented and everyone else are posted on HRconnect. Look it up yourself. CDHP and HDHP premiums are higher for LQ represented. Quite a bit more.

I say no and wait for the Dems to win the election and go after health care again to stop this stuff, if we say yes we are locked in for the duration of the contract. The company has a pass and we will be sold by the next contract.

If this is true how does 75 percent increase in premiums an improvement in health care and a 2 percent raise that is ate up by said 75 percent increase plus what we already had being reduced.

That would mean our wages for buying power is going to take a 10 percent or so hit I would think, live in a high income area on these wages and look for a home and lose about ten percent of your take home. We will be on the street.

Don't want to over react but this is not a negotiation it is extortion. Wonder what kind of negotiation settlement the Union is getting, last contract it was 500,000.

75% across the board? Because CDHP and HDHP premiums were already higher than non-represented and non-LQ represented pay.

2% raise. Healthcare raised 75%. Screwed over like the last 3 contracts.
