Just wondering if anyone else has experienced lack of information around office closures and redundancies as seems the lack of information being communicated is not coming down.
I have been warned I am at risk after 15+ years here and a majority of that here in Derby and feel so let down.
@104TVBf9-pch - true but hiring graduates who don't know what they're doing, possibly having minimumal training and possibly no knowledge transfer will struggle and spin themselves in this company and likely to see what a dogs dinner it is along with the clients. Then clients will transfer out and graduates move on after a year or so.
So mikes will keep hiring youngones and praying things stick together before he retires on a golden egg
15+ years of service must mean that you have a decent enough salary?
If so, DXC will DEFINATELY get rid of you eventually.
It's all about getting rid of experienced staff and replacing them with graduates on lower salaries. It's the ONLY way Mikey can show any kind of profit to the shareholders.
If you feel let down by DXC, you have been sleeping under a rock. There is nothing positive about this company and all indicators have pointed to abject dismal failure since its inception.
It is best for you to remove your rose colored glasses and see reality. You are nothing but a liability and will be treated as such here.
If even after 15+ years of experience, and watching how things are going in DXC, if "you feel let down" now....
I am sorry to say, you seem to have to high expectations about yourself within the context of DXC. Need to get away from that.
It does not diminish your value in the world outside DXC, however don't expect anything unique for yourself in this cesspool.
Everything in the trash bin starts to stink, even the freshener can only last so long.

This whole period has been a time where we have had no official information even after publications in the Register. People who have been wfr’d or have been put into the consultation period obviously have specific information of their personal circumstances. I am of the opinion that nobody is ruled in or out regarding this WFR. So we just have to either plod along with a pith helmet on or find a parachute. As far as UK&I is concerned it is only a matter of time before we get the notification.
All we hear about is the digital journey, which is quite frankly bollocks!
