Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Damage Control

They know that they are being found out. Things are not going well. Survey results were terrible, and they are trying to do damage control.

Problem is T-mobile as well since they rather buyback billions of stock and pay exorbitant salaries to exes than to share with the employees who are helping them get where they are. Just because other companies are doing the same doesn’t make actions right. Then they have face to say we are “employee centric”. There persists other problems too like favoritism, layoffs etc. You can’t just dismiss all these issues. On top of it management is not disclosing survey results. Why do you think that is?

"they are being found out"
Uh, yeah. That was obvious 2 years ago when they fired the un-jabbed for literally no good reason.
I remember the un-jabbed posting here and warning everyone about the SLT. They were right about that, too.

@olf+1sFtD7PQ, great point about the 30% increase and the cumulative effect of inflation. The monthly CPI numbers are usually reported as YoY. We will never see $0.50/gallon, or even $1.00/gallon gasoline, again. We need to ”correct” the ”problem” that is causing this ”macroeconomic disaster”. As @esw+1sFtD7PQ mentioned, “…this company is biggest telecommunications company in the world, was in top 100 biggest companies in world in market cap terms…”. IMVHO, the problem is NOT T-Mobile.

If everything is fair then why don’t they discuss survey results? Or are you suggesting employees are d-mb and complain without cause?

Pay hikes are not based off performance it’s based on favoritism atleast in my experience and talking to multiple other folks

If raises were tied to inflation, wages would be 30% higher than they were when Biden became president. Mikey said in many public employee meetings that the stock options and increase in stock price were in place of a non-performance based raise. So any pay raises are/were based on performance. Since Managers were limited to an AVERAGE of 4% across their teams, this means if one person gets 6%, the rest will be UNDER the 4%. It's not a hard calculation.

HR, Personnel (whatever they're called today) are supposed to be reviewing salary competitiveness routinely. Guess they believe that pay is just fine.

Oh, FJB. And FMS.

@fua+1sFtD7PQ, interesting point. As a rule, raises, bonuses, stock options, and other perks are NOT based on inflation, but based on performance. If the inflation rate was 0.8%, would you be satisfied with a 0.8% pay increase? I would wager that the TOP TALENT received what they deserved in terms of raises, bonuses, stock options, and other perks. Perhaps the “majority” of employee’s frustrations are due to a much larger macroeconomic disaster that is plaguing employees AND employers, IMVHO.

If results from the survey were good they would have announced it during the all hands meeting. The fact they didn’t and it is still being delayed says it all. Employee satisfaction here at this point is at an all time low. That applies to everyone. In care even the koolaid drinkers are becoming less and less, and that is what drives the company. Everyone realizes they are underpaid and overworked and not valued.

Laughable, let's be honest: John and Neville got this ship moving at this speed long before Mike and Ulf took over; and MULF know they need people to keep it moving - at least until they can cash out. They'd better be concerned about the survey!

Can you really believe this company is biggest telecommunications company in the world, was in top 100 biggest companies in world in market cap terms, has grown market cap over 10x in few years is still growing faster than any company making records quarter over quarter buying back billions of stock has highest paid telecom ceo?? On the other hand when it comes to employee satisfaction they need to rely on survey before any action can be taken. Laughable

I hear it almost daily about how terrible T-Mobile as a company is to work for, yet the same crybaby bi--hes are still here. If you don’t like it here, leave! Don’t threaten to leave or complain and spread your sh---y attitude around infecting others, just leave. You’re not contributing anything anyway and are affecting those who want to remain. Go start one of the businesses you keep talking about.

Give below inflation salary hikes to majority of employees for years and then wonder why they are hugely disappointed..such insights require PowerPoint slides guys especially using AI else no one can penetrate management thick heads and inflated egos
