Some DPAIO folks are gone as of today. At least one VP and one SVP included. Is this part of a larger RIF this week?

I think GW
@zq This site doesn’t allow you to type names unless they are public record - aka senior leadership or board members. I guess fear of lawsuits - so the post will be removed if a name is posted.
@zd "Type the last name backward", why not just type the name? Silly.
Tech in this company has always been a mess. To many VPs and Directors hanging around doing nothing but waste everyone's time.
Who are we talking about when we say? sg, rc, jk, bc???
Can you please give some more hint, maybe type the name or last name backwards? Or type first two letters from first and last name.
@sr I don’t like seeing anyone get let go, but honestly, one of these departures was probably a long time coming.
To be fair, there would probably be at least one person who would feel the same if it was one of us, though, so I typically avoid indulging in shadenfraude.
@tw Leadership changes like this typically aren’t announced. If any statement is made, it’s something along the lines of “has chosen to explore other ventures,” which generally signals a termination. In the case of the upper echelon, if any announcement is made, it's usually with the replacement announcement. "Please welcome John Smith, who is now leading X department." Words words words, then near the bottom, "Sally Jones has left to pursue other opportunities and we wish her well."
Does anyone know who? I assume an email would have been sent.
I heard there were multiple VP and SVP leaders let go in DPAIO, Commercial, GHB, Finance and Strategy. Looks the layoffs made it to the executive level.
Good riddance.
@hm sg, rc, jk, bc
SG (finally!) and someone on her team. Finally, getting rid of dead weight
Who was laid off? Was it JB? Or Gw?
Threads like this are worthless without identifying people. C’mon people, you can use initials. Without it, I call BS
lol
Who?
A very high level VP had been laid off today in the DPAIO branch.
@b1 The rat's organization.
@OP
What is DPAIO?
