@5ulm+1fehD7RD As they should be.

GCSO just got another email clarifying what's happening with them. Definitely still full remote, but desks are reserved for the first 60 days. After that its THUNDERDOME.

today my boss said to the team "nobody has told me anything about RTO schedules so until they do we're still remote." even management seems annoyed by this plan lol

Ahh now that I look back at that email I see it's buried in paragraph 3. Great communications HR 🙄

@2jjs+1fehD7RD - Didn't you get the email from black jacket? Basically everyone that wasn't told otherwise by their group is supposed to RTO starting the week of March 28 for 3 days a week.

I still have no idea what my RTO status is. Guess my group is just leaving it up to managers to decide when to break the news🤷🏼‍♀️

@2pyj+1fehD7RD nobody cares about your snarky political nonsense. The non RTO is by group, not by location. It is GOSC.

It makes perfect sense why some groups are in office and others are full remote - vaccination status vs corporate liability.

The fully vaxxed libs in NYC, Cary, and Whippany need to be task mastered to drive revenue, while the Facebook Expert repubs in Dayton, Aurora, and Oriskany, and other LCOL offices need to be isolated from each other to mitigate potential legal action.

I have not got an explanation from anyone on why some groups are treated differently for RTO. In fact, I don't know which groups are treated how.

It does sound like customer service is going full time remote. That kind of makes sense.

I don't know about other groups.

Has anyone got an explanation why it makes sense for one group to go mostly virtual and the rest of us are 3x week in office?

Email came. Susan says RTO Monday March 28. And she'll inform you of the safety protocols once they figure out what the h-e double hockey sticks they are.

If they involve full time masking or swabbing anything, I don't think we're ready for RTO.

What did the Professor say about RTO?

Thanks for that link about Michel's stock options granted in 2012?

Very interesting. I know it looks like a weird link, but it is legit. Take a peek if you're curious how the other half live.

Oh, and the footnote that he only sold some stock to get enough money to be able to pay to exercise the option. PuhlEASE. The guy likely has enough cash in his checking account to exorcise that option. It's more about limiting his risk - that is selling MetLife stock, but doing so in a way to not alarm other investors.

I think HR forgot they need to tell HR about RTO. We've heard nothing in my area and there are no meetings on the calendar for an HR LOB meeting about RTO.

USB Town Hall, pompous Professor Ramy was so smug when asked about RTO. In one slide (as if anyone pays attention) there was a 2024 date for meeting some Next Horizon objective. I believe Michele’s contract is through 2024.

And MV results were spun. Down in all categories. But don’t forget to fill out the survey on what you thought about the town hall! Your feedback is important to us! You don’t say…Jack holes. Employees could talk and write until they are blue in the face about what the company needs to do to make employees happy, but nothing will change. I believe they are all deaf, d-mb and blind.

In the last twenty days, covid has been accredited by the CDC with over 2,500 deaths a day in the US with yesterday's deaths climbing by 3,400!

The latest covid death figure (yesterday) exceeds cancer's average by better than a 2 to 1 margin. Cancer has ki---d 1,600 a day in the US in recent years. This means 900 more deaths from covid per day than cancer on average. But the numbers of covid deaths keep trending higher and higher even though cases are down 80% and hospitalizations are down 50%.

So RTO is just foolish in this day and age.

Actually, it looks like the option on 52,000 shares was granted way back before 2013 and he only exercised them now because the option was about to expire. He's a smart cookie - why buy and hold the shares if you can just hold the option on them?

If he got an option on that many shares back then, imagine what he is getting now!

But guys, don't worry Michel only got 52,000 shares of Met stock for 50% off last December.

How else are we going to make you appreciate our offices?

Leave it to MetLife to fu-k this up. Major groups with completely different RTO and WFH situations. Animosity between teams will be there now, as will animosity between the RTO class and leadership.

There is something to be said for treating everyone equally. Happy for my co-workers who get to WFH now, but shame on you "leadership" for fu----g this up and making the rest of us feel like we got screwed.

We just word from our leader that we are mandatory 3 days in office - under GTO. No changes or flexibility for us.

Sounds like other groups outside of GCSO actually might not be as lucky. Seems specific to GCSO

Post ID: @dah+1fehD7RD

GCSO is now "predominately virtual" very few associates expected to be in the office, AVP and above not as lucky.

Only office requirements will be for training or team building events.

Keep in mind, GCSO only, who knows about the rest of the company, but I'd assume they will follow.

@zpa+1fehD7RD Yup. External. At least a 30% raise, full virtual, better benefits, and an engaged executive team.

I really hope I get it.

"Big changes" interesting, hopefully in a direction for the better with no real RTO other than the occasional team meeting. I have no need to be in my office more than once a month, even that would be a lot.

Good luck on the interview, hope it is EXTERNAL!

Internal word on the meeting is that there will be "big changes" to rto and virtual.

No idea what that means, but heard it from a trusted source.

Ironically I'll be interviewing for a new job during the meeting, so let me know how it goes.
