Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Can someone tell me what the lawsuit was for?
I'm not in CA, but Follett is a national company...

Brittany was at my store and I wished she had told me about the class action because I would have added my grievances. There were massive issues at our store.

Also I got $1700 before taxes. It was for all CA based employees from 2018-2024.

@OP I said a while ago when I quit let’s all sue but people accused me of being a spy from corporate lmao

I’m in CA. I got a bit over $300 after taxes taken out. Some old coworkers who were the were longer got closer to $800. Still having issues with breaks and staffing. Looking like they learned nothing and want to be sued again.

Case was "Dismissed with prejudice"

So who sent you $725.00 and why?

I heard from a couple of people that got checks. Too bad if you were salaried. Hourly you should have got something.

She brought it about cause they weren’t allowing people to take the required breaks after so many hours.

everyone please sue them. i still work for them unfortunately but the checks make it easier <3
