We’ve gone from fearing layoffs to hoping for one just to escape the stress. If it weren’t so sad, it’d be hilarious.

Why wait and whine so much like a baby, go and find yourself a better job, macho tough guy.
Eventually they will need to freeze firings else all of SR will go for unemployment.
SR is releasing 'leaks' of impending layoffs to get people to quit on their own, that is, no package. SR could care less if the people quitting walk on water or are dregs. Everyone is the same to them. This is one of several fatal flaws (remember 2015 and 2020?) when it comes to layoffs.
Layoffs happen. But the degree to which Chevron leaders continue to sc--w up the entire process is truly unique.
@zgy+1vyAvbyT Shut up clown. People are not okay. Good for you that you’re sooooo hard broooooo you’re so tough. Have some empathy.
Too many drama queens on this site and perhaps on the company. You work in corporate America, layoff is part of what you have signed up for no matter what company or what I dusty, it is going g to happen, it is ruthless and unpredictable. If you do your homework you either accept it or move o. To government job or have your own business, all of which have pros and cons, stop the whining and grow up.
You gotta not let the stress gets to you and your family. Keep collecting while looking and exploring opportunities outside of cvx. The senior leadership has declared a silent war against employees. We gotta fight back by playing our own game. Be nice to your fellow worker bee but be furious against the bad senior management actors.
They just want you to quit and then no payoff.
