The reality is this, a senior leader was caught copying documents from his work computer to his personal computer after he gave notice. After that "incident", all executives are immediately shown the door as soon as they give notice. Happened with most recent CISO, likely happened for Pawan

Pappy's newest favorite is the one who is getting the glory. I warned y'all. He and the General go way back with a storied history. If you didn't get clued into the Town Hall last Thursday, you're out of the loop and likely on his radar. He's out to clean house.

Yeah, where's the dedicated LTL for Pow Wow Vermin with some golden sneaks as a departing gift? His upcoming iRise coffee chat was cancelled with no explanation. They do think we are that stupid. It's hilarious. And more hilarious, are the HR trolls who try to "correct" us on here. Go buy another award!

A clarification. I'm saying Pawan was fired, but not fired just for saying he wanted to move to another sector. That doesn't make sense. It's not even a good cover story.

There had to be something else going on.

Best guess: Pappy felt Pawan was getting glory that Pappy wanted.

I would buy that Pawan told people he wanted to move to another sector.

I don't buy that they fired him for that. Or that he quit with no notice.

Normal would be: Pawan wants to work in another sector. Pawan finds job. Pawan, as an executive, gives plenty of notice, say 2 months. Metlife, announces departure, transitions work, and looks for a new Pawan. Pawan leaves. Life goes on. Minimal drama.

This seems different. No announcement. No long notice. No reasons given.

So, I call B.S.

It looks to me like Pawan was fired.

Something unusual happened here, and I won't let the HR trolls or Pappy protectors who haunt this site say otherwise.

Met loves long drawn out messy makes MetLife look bad litigation. Not sure what a person would have to do to get fired for discrimination, harassment, fraud. Metlife rallied behind the malfeasors and retaliates against whistleblowers.

So, did this guy blow the whistle? Any guesses on what he reported?

Prediction: Pappy is the next executive to bite the dust.

They always say “keep your mouth shut.” Was Pawan both taller than Bill and acting like a better leader? Bill often elicits offended annoyed nonverbal from the famous women he interacts with in TTT. Maybe Pawan is less s-xist, less 1980s? So had to go.

Is Pappas thin skinned?

Met loves securities fraud, falsifying financial statements, underreporting. They would fire you for reporting it. Get with the culture!

No announcement. No email. No advance notification. Just, bam, he's gone.

For an executive, there's a fair amount of positive vibe on this board for him.

So, what happened?

I heard he was known as a slasher. Maybe he got slashed. I wonder if he pi---d the wrong person off. All these hands on meetings lead me to suspect that he was slashed.

Doubtful it was B. Pappy got roasted on an open call when Latalladi left and the person who did that is still here.
