Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Congratulations Complainers

Goodbye to useless roles and lazy people who complain about doing the minimum, RTO, and coffee badging. If you don't think for once that people are not talking about you especially your teammates, think again. The majority are fed up with your laziness, poor work ethic, and leeching off of others to cover your slack. People at the office are not blind and there's chatter for those they see who come in at 10am and leave at 11am. Done are your excuse of poor me I have no one at the office because my team are everywhere. Guess what you're not the only one. Many people who have teams all over the world still have to come in, you're not special. Congratulations you had this coming

The executives are targeting 0 days in office, as in, you'll all be outsourced, contracted, automated away.

FRTO and the dinosaurs that support it.

5 day in office will be the only solution to those who skirt RTO. When that happens, those same people will be begging for 3-day weeks and it will be too late.

I can't decide if you're being a purposefully obtuse troll or if you're simply d-mber than a bag of hammers.

Approving of, or being indifferent to, RTO is not equal to being intelligent, hardworking, qualified, skilled, or loyal.

Conversely, disapproving of, or being upset about, RTO is not equal to being unintelligent, lazy, unqualified, unskilled, or disloyal.

There are scores of employees who are upset about RTO for a variety of reasons - mainly (as has already been explained to you) that in order to RETURN to an office, one must have first DEPARTED an office, which is not the case for many employees who were remote from day one, years before the pandemic started. The terms of their employment were changed without regard or recourse.

Additionally, those who had once worked in office worked from home for the past several YEARS.

In both cases, lives and routines have been disrupted, added costs (fuel, childcare, clothing) have been handed to employees without any additional compensation to offset them, which is essentially a soft paycut and the Bank choosing to spend our money for us, and the most irreplaceable resource of all - time - has been taken from us.

JuSt Go WoRk SoMeWhErE eLsE tHeN.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with expecting basic decency and consideration towards us as HUMAN resources.

I know this won't get through the nugget of petrified dog sh-t that sits where your brain failed to develop, but we are all fu--ing sick of you.

I know of commercial banking team leads from different ends of the country that worked through the pandemic in office (except for when prohibited) 10+ hours per day most days. Both were extremely hard working and loyal. Both were cut. It shocked me and many others. It is a mistake to think going above and beyond will make a difference. It's more about who you know.

We are located in Missouri. Currently we are working from home with not a notice of return to office as they closed our building. Working where our location is there is not hub within 80 miles for our team. So I guess with these type of situations we are not included in this return. Anyone know?

@op calling people lazy if they speak the truth is pure corporate gas lighting.

It doesn’t matter if you are over performing or “lazy” this company doesn’t care.

If you think this company cares about you… ok good luck…

You can spend 12 hours in the office every day....don't matter one bit....don't kid yourself....you are just as likely to be laid off as the next person

@OP If people really want to spend time complaining about others, then it means they have too much time on their hands and can't mind their own business. Who knows if their coworkers haven't had a conversation with their manager & HR about accommodations. Or maybe, they're working in a different location, you know trying to make friends like GK said we're supposed to do..

Interesting take but just not true. The whole point of everything that has been going on is to get people to quit or retire.

A post like this is only meant to cause some sort of paranoia where you want to make people think that their coworkers are against them.

It's just not true and at this point especially after the gunjan call we all know better.

Everyone is at risk regardless. They even said it on the call. "The workers are our biggest expense"
