Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Why Dump DXC,end of Rarhul?

Looks like Rarhul is dust, came in when yhe share price was $24 and left 2 years after leaving the Share price at $13

Absence of organic revenue growth over the past two years suggests it may have to lean into acquisitions to drive its expansion
Earnings per share have contracted by 3.6% annually over the last five years, a headwind for returns as stock prices often echo long-term EPS performance
Underwhelming 1.2% return on capital reflects management’s difficulties in finding profitable growth opportunities, and its falling returns suggest its earlier profit pools are drying up

Disappearing from town halls and just having his name stamped on emails is the exact playbook they used when they booted salvino. Maybe we're getting another new CEO for Christmas this year?

Two montths since Rauls last email and no announcements or update from any execs or HR.
Quite bizarre that a rudderless DXC is seen as a viable business.

@z2 I guess he was never going to admit his failings or say why he was fired (I'm still looking for what actually happened in Vegas if anyone knows....)

@y7 Salvino was still on the books (and in the GAL) for a good 6 months after he stepped down.
Where is he now? Oh here, and apparently he did a great job at DXC!

Just had a look on LinkedIn and RF is still showing as DXC CEO. Mind you, Howard Boville is still showing as CES chief as well as the new guy so its not always accurate.

It happens when you stage a take over, insert yourself as CEO with zero experience and bring in outsiders with zero experience… lol. What a joke.

Rahol has been living on his past dreams like his startups and sports franchise, stuff from the 90s and dot com era.

His proved he cant do it today, his just carried forward the sane old decline, time to step a side, a company needs employees on side, and if you dont pay them the right amount your not going to win anything.

There hasn’t been any official notice of why RF hasn’t posted in a while (the last email from him I’ve got is the Aug 01 monitoring email) so for all we know there could be a multitude of reasons.
However, it’s been clear to me since he took over that he was very much a caretaker until someone with a clearer idea of how to turn around a tech company came along.
He hasn’t shown any vision, no direction, no management expertise, or anything else that might give you some confidence that we’re heading in the right direction.
Maybe no one wants the job and he’s stuck with it for a while longer, but maybe the new CES head is the ‘designated survivor’?

The Kyndrl share price has gone from $12 to $32 in the last 2 years, whilst DXC has gone from $24 to $13.

The 2 management teams are way apart it seems, Rhul has to throw in the towel, he tried but failed. There's got to be a clearout including Drummer and others who gave failed over a period of 5 years.

Poor performance and inability to create the turn around hasn't been the end of either previous ceo. What ends them is something else.

Will be the same this time too.
