Well 8/8 is here, it is mid-morning...for all the hype, has anyone gotten Riffed or know DEFINITELY of a person or area hit?

While I understand why people keep asking if it's certain departments or if it's widespread, out of fear, the truth is and has been that it's widespread. Literally no department is safe. Even PLs have posted here saying as much.
The larger the department, the more risk at of major hits, but I doubt many or any departments escape this one entirely. Unless, of course, you're sitting in Indy with a corner office.
Had a meetings today about the layoffs. 11 team members gone but for now I am safe

WHO is meeting with the RIFd? HR or ppl leaders??? There have been 7 new Financial positions posted today! This company is dirt bag dirty! You are either going to be RIFtd or leave on your own accord. Retirements are out the window at this company

Is anyone willing to say a high level department that has been affected so far? I heard it was Finance but then read something where Nurses were laid off so wondering if it's wide spread or certain targeted areas.

Not every impacted person is going to hit this website first thing and post. They are going to talk to their own family, read the agreements sent by HR, Crystal, swear, or otherwise process what they just found out, etc. And as busy as this website has been, not every single employee is reading it (although I am amazed at how many people know about it)

So sorry to hear this. I hope you received decent severance. Make sure to document/keep track of everything. I was RIF'd earlier in the year and the things I was told and the things in the documents didn't match up so you need to read everything carefully.
