Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

I don't think morale can get any lower

The only time you see anyone smiling is when someone cracks a joke about how bad things have gotten or when they're taking a jab at management.

@ysx+1uSokxgn you are NOT alone and many I know are following that approach. Also, there is NO budget for 2025 so expect minimal to zero merit increases and ridiculously low bonuses. Don't get me wrong. It's not that there is no money but the lesser they pay the more chances employees will voluntarily leave ... which has become the bank's motto these days.

It is insanely depressing. After last years performance review, I now know there’s no reason to go above and beyond when I get the same meets expectations box checked at the end of the year. I only help my coworkers with questions because I know it’s the right thing to do as a more experienced employee on my team. I could give a s*** less to do anything to help the management at this company.

@zyx+1uSokxgn You wouldn’t know unless your family line was impacted. Some of us are sensitive to this type of treatment because of our lineage.

@wsz+1uSokxgn That's inappropriate and not in the same universe.

Remember it didn’t start with gas chambers either.
