It looks like the cheap gifts and $100-$150 lunches go away starting in January for milestone service anniversaries. Also retirement party funds will be eliminated also.

My last day after 32 years . Before i was allowed to sign retirement paper . My Manager demanded i take a on line safety class to help his monthly numbers . My entire career flashed before me as just a number to him .
Anniversary gifts will be continued, the business is owned by family members.

Stop sending us the Att Brand store emails! Who the heck buys an Att Christmas or socks??
Wow they are in bad shape, I retired in August 2020 41 years, so glad.
Stinky had to stop the service anniversary and retirement awards because with all the retiree benefits taken away this week, such a large number of retirements will occur that T would go bankrupt!
Did you ever see the invoice for that cr@p? That $10 watch that the hands fall off after the first use is billed at close to $1,000 by the company that runs that for T. Must be Stinky's brother runnning that side business.
"Thank goodness I got my 30 year photo-copied index card last year. You heard that right"
You matter.
Well we gotta pay the guys in BSIM to hold down the chairs every day
Ha. Didn't even have one (dinner or lunch or anything) for my 25th or 20th. Haven't ever even met the last 2 bosses.
no more gold watch for you
What?!? And I had my heart set on that cheeseboard set with the AT&T logo on it! Now what do I have to live for?
Thank goodness I got my 30 year photo-copied index card last year. You heard that right.
At our garage we can't even get batteries for our high voltage safety equipment or new face masks for when we're in customer's houses.
Yet there's plenty of money for Randall's bloated retirement package.
We were told by our HR business partner on our staff call just now.
i have not seen any emails regarding this anywhere........please post in reply to this string if you have it.
now there's gonna be a warehouse full of cheap a– trinkets with the T logo on them
That’s because they don’t want career employees anymore! You work for T, 5 maybe 10 years, get some experience for your resume’ and move on because that culture has been changed!
CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT...Toxic T does it again..ROLF
MIlestone? and Layoff...LOL
Legacy T OOR and never got that email regarding Milestone anniversary awards being cancelled or eliminated. If this is accurate that’s one of the things AT&T did prior to SBC buying/saving them Back in 2006 not a good sign
That's nothing.
My company owned vehicle died on the highway the other day and after the Fleet's Credit Card to pay for a tow got denied three times - actually, three different cards per the Tow Company Dispatcher, I ended up calling a friend and got a ride home from my neighbor. Dead truck is still out there as far as I know and care.
Boss said "let the PD impound the thing - bet T will figure out how to pay the tow bill then".
Get to ride-along for the next few days until the truck reappears.
Fortune hundred-whatever company and we can't cover a couple of hundred bucks for a tow?
The best was when the Fleet gal asked me if I would mind using my personal Triple A - I laughed and hung up.
You still get a certificate sent to you every 5 years with a photocopied CEO signature.
Yep I got the email about that for my direct reports also. They are clinching on to every penny. I guess the occasional pizza parties are next.
