Tommy is finally going to have the nightmares that he has given to everyone else. He himself is now solidly in the crosshairs as is everyone that surround him.
That is why they have now hired a ton of lawyers to advise them how to deal with this. . He ain’t too bright but he certainly sees the writing on the wall,,,He created this. He made Allstate a target because of his poor leadership and losses….
The bad news is that as the stock rises in the short term he will make even more money. However, for people like him…it is no longer about money…it is about EGO and that big ego is going to take a big hit….and he will likely get a well deserved humiliating exit….
In the end, This will not be good for any remaining employees. Departments will be shut down. Profitable businesses will be whittled away….and sadly expect little to no severance considerations as all of this occurs…
If you get a decent opportunity to move on, take it!!!

Don’t you love the little troll who is defending his fearless leader?? You know that there are high level Allstate “leaders” who look at this site and comment….and give their little “down” votes…..
Hey buddy, wonder what that hedge fund is going to do with your position when the cr-p hits the fan….
They sure are going to want all those middle and upper managers, and QA folks, and marketing folks, etc…..You making those bonuses will be the first crossed off the list………….
Bet Allstate is going to look good on that resume…. Good companies will be lining up for a taste of that “Allstate leadership.”
You will be gone probably before your boy Wilson….
Hope you saved some of those bonus checks…..you are going to need them…

He does have a lot of money but at this point it is not about money….It is about being a CEO and having power…
He is going to be drop kicked from his position because he is a loser that made poor decisions…..and that will ki-l him regardless of money…He can’t take money with him but his reputation as a “loser” will remain…
By the way, you must be one of those great “senior leaders” who have done so well…

Haha. "He ain't too bright'. The guy's a billionaire and well, you're not. lol. Not sure he cares too much about losing his job. I would say he's pretty secure financially.
It will be interesting to see if there is a different tone at the next public discussion of quarterly results in November or if it is still full speed ahead on TG and that “we are executing well.”
Allstate is “wounded” and the wolves smell blood….This is what happens to poorly run public corporations…..
They are eyed only for what their parts can bring on the open market….

The only thing that “may” save an independent Allstate is if the board finally pushed out Wilson and the entire senior team…..and started from scratch with a new direction……
But I do not see that happening…
Allstate will be whittled away and pieces will be sold to the highest bidder until nothing is left…
Think Sears…all the profitable and valuable real estate was sold off until there was literally nothing left….
There is still a “Sears” online but it is irrelevant and most people will never do business with them again…
There will likely still be an “Allstate “ when this all ends but it will never see the glory days prior to Wilson again…It will be irrelevant…it will be small…and very likely will just be a “brand” name” leased out such as RCA is now…
RCA no longer exists but you can still buy something branded “RCA.”
Another lesson in what occurs when EGO runs amuck in business…
The synergy and comparison with Sears will continue to the very end…
