Anyone on here at reduced pay now?
Just curious.

The only thing that has reduced is the amount of time daily I waste pretending I’m busy, doing something work related, not hung over and don’t smoke.
LOA for us , and we’re lowest paid in our segment
CEO reduced his annual salary by... 5%
It’s there own fault buying companies and running them in the ground or moving them when they have the capability to build all parts on site to place where they have to ship parts out to do part of process that has never done anything like it and get it back and have to sc-ap and start them over!!! I hope they do go bankrupt would serve them right but working employees would pay the price for it as usual.
Not much better in canada . They want us to pay them work with nothing cant get shop supplies havent had a cleaner in years . Bosses still get bonus pay . Ever machine leaks . Had one raise in 10 years . Fixing Chinese made parts . Good luck to all . Hope for the layoff and start fresh
I agree with the guy/gal who said bankruptcy
@ydv+14apmGTq: Sorry to hear that. I guess if you are home country resident then a 40% cut is huge thing. I am sure that HR could have avoided this if they could have simply implemented a 30% cut for all IM's globally.
It is really shameful that while IM's in some locations have been paid hefty salary and coefficients, hard working employees in several location have never got any opportunity to move out of location. There are several locations where people have been waiting for transfers forever.
While some people are given choices to move from one to another location with huge transfer amounts paid each time, so many employees don;t even get recognition properly, SLB work culture has become so toxic that we are in this sh–.
They should cut down bonus for all highly paid bosses. No onus should be paid at all. No stock option. No PIP's.
Won't be long till we start shuttering locations.
You do realise SLB is going bankrupt, don't you ?
How about wireline ( full time job and part time pay). If it’s this bad in NAM then shut the doors. We have enough s__t going on in this world that we live in to have to worry about whether we will have a pay check every two weeks or not. Love my job but hate the BS that goes with it. Stay safe out there
I’m an 11 and was told to take a 40% pay cut or get canned!
They should do whatever they have not done so far.
Lay-off all the first in line should those top executives and their a– licking N-1 who did'nt do their job properly.
Secondly all guys from CEO to B-6 guys should all take 50-30% pay cut immediately. This is need of hour. All these IM's and Geo Mobile guys who are in this company for long enough have earned enough for 2 generations. This reduction is for their own good and also will reduce cost of company. If this is not done then again many hard working and deserving employees would be laid off again and when situation becomes normal then we would not be able to rise up with full potential.
Thirdly, they should eliminate all such roles which has no business values and start training junior staff in both technical and non-technical roles so that they can take added responsibility. In this way a much better use of talent pool will happen.
All transfers should be cancelled unless the person is highly critical to business (bring 1 million or more revenue per quarter). No transfers should be done for roles which can be done temporarily by local staff in any location.
All location managers, country managers and all PL heads should not be transferred for next 2 years as they have to show how they have steered the company in difficult times. This has been a very big problem in this organization since 2011. Too frequent change in management at all levels. This became very severe problem in recent years and no one takes any ownership in any segment or any level.
No dividend payout to investors. CEO should defend this situation. This is global problem and surely investors would understand this situation. They have no where to go as all sectors are down or would be affected in coming weeks.
Manufacturing people's pay is way, way lower than the salaried employees..... and don't forget PIPs (10% - the sky's the limit). Time to drain the swamp of those with the fancy, meaningless titles.
Schlumberger has given up on NAM and are relying on countries outside of The States. Their track record of accurate forecasting is shockingly bad. Oil will be low for a long time and was tanking well before the virus and the Russian/Saudi spat. They will also want unsustainable invoice reductions. Schlum will have to chase every cent and be ultra-competitive to just gain jobs at a loss.
The rocky road avalanche train has just left Wereindeepshit Station.
More likely that it will be furloughs than a straight pay cut. I can't recall SLB ever reducing pay and I've been involved in a lot of RIF planning. It's usually let them go or keep paying them their current pay
Apparently it’s coming, I heard go to 4 day week with 20% pay cut. Not sure how wide or which segments
