Thread regarding USAA layoffs

USAA can't be trusted

This is the message that we need to get out there. They lied to their employees, they'll lie to their customers. USAA can no longer be trusted.

If we can get that message out in mass this will come back and bite them in the a-s.

Going to the office is such a waist of time and you lose so much work day and productivity.

LOL, let's get the message out that USAA is a liar, let's provide zero business value while on campus, and do a sick out to sc--w over our customers...because the company that pays us really well wants us to go back to the way we used to work, in the office, and we don't want to. I feel like the people commenting here are not the best employees USAA has, and if leadership is reading this website they are surely happy to lose some of you. People are busting their a-s in America for low pay and cr-ppy benefits and you guys don't want to go work in an awesome office with great pay and bennies? Take a step back for a minute and realize how good you have it.

This is where unionizing could have helped us. We have no rights and they know it!

Soon it'll be mandatory relocation or job loss with no severance. Watch

A Rebellion. Everyone should gather and make a stance and call out of work for 3 days in a row. TUES-THUR. It needs to be organized and it needs A LOT of attention.

So much for Honesty and Integrity.

Wayne is a pathetic excuse for a "leader," and I'm not just saying that because I disagree with his decisions. A great leader can make decisions that people don't like but recognize need to be done.

RTO is not one of those decisions. I was hired remote and received confirmation from the hiring manager and recruiter that the job was remote. I even have the original job posting saved as a PDF. Now I'm fully expecting the announcement tomorrow that my role will be required in the office three days per week soon.

That's fine. I'll play your game. But I will provide zero business value while on campus. I'll come in, get a workout in, grab some coffee, chat with coworkers, take my lunch off campus, take a nap, play some ping pong, maybe grab another coffee before I head out.

At home is where I'll do my actual work.
