Is this voluntary leave program still active? Who took it? If you took it, what is the package you have received?

They won’t cancel WFR’s as long as the share price remains way below the 56 per share need to stay afloat.

Voluntary Redundancy is still redundancy. It's used to reduce the numbers of people made mandatory that may not be as enthusiastic about leaving. ITS VERY TRUE, if you don't want to leave then DON"T.

One day a legal company look into DXC? LOL. Where does one begin on the unethical misdemeanours of DXC flouting the law with surplus to requirements 'oh wait we're recruiting', 'no wait we're paying retention to the people we're getting rid in a few months'.

There should be minimum standards for ethical operation of a company (covering slavery, s-xual harrassment, bullying, etc) with fines for abuse. Mind you, that would mean no ipods, ipads, or nike trainers; no google, facebook; amazon, ASDA/Walmart, Nestle, Tesco, Coca Cola, Air-France, Ben and Jerry's, BP, Shell, Starbucks, Tate & Lyle, Cadbury (Mondelez UK), EDF Energy, FedEx, HP, Kelloggs, L'Oreal, Motorola and, Wendy's.

UK they give you extra to go voluntarily.

Its bad practice to make it look like more people voluntary than really are. I hope one day a legal company looks into it.

@xku that's not true. Voluntary Redundancy is still redundancy. It's used to reduce the numbers of people made mandatory that may not be as enthusiastic about leaving.

This is NOT layoffs, this is as you say "Voluntary Leave". You should be glad that the company and Germany labor laws allow such a thing. In the US we also have "Voluntary Leave", but you get NOTHING if you leave that way.

If you want to leave, then leave and collect your money, we dont want you. If you stay and are laid off *RIFF'ed, then we want to hear about what you got money wise, how it was done etc...
