Schwimmer a master at spin with analysts and investors, but anyone internally knows it was a really mediocre quarter and year for D&A. No new D&A head named yet, have to figure it will be someone externally after this quarter.

No material Microsoft deliverables (SSO as a product deliverable, cmon!? lol). All other Microsoft things kicked down the road to later in 2025.

LSEG wanted headlines in the press to spin the quarter as Microsoft related as a sales tool for renewals heading into Eikon EOL. But anyone knows that wasn’t the case. The other business units propped up D&A.

dysfunction at the divisional head, group leader, and group director levels has been the root cause of the organization’s decline. These leaders have built a culture of fear, where speaking up is punished, and decisions are based on fantasy rather than facts. The lack of accountability and real expertise has led to years of zero meaningful delivery. At this point, a full leadership reset isn’t just preferable—it’s the only viable path forward. Literally, any change would be an improvement over the current state.

It’s hard to argue with that assessment. Over the past three years, there has been no meaningful delivery from leadership—just a revolving door of sycophants reinforcing poor decisions. The environment has become one where domain expertise is undervalued, and real leadership has been replaced by ego-driven posturing. The result? An organization paralyzed by incompetence, with no clear vision or ability to execute. At this point, LSEG D&A is less of a functioning business and more of a cautionary tale in the making for future B-School case studies on leadership failures.

@xk+1jmf1fv43 Everyone from the divisional head, group leader and group director level in D&A has to be fired to make way for literally anyone else. The organization is so bad because of those levels of leadership that anyone else is an improvement.

You have an organization full of leaders that are “would-be dictators” and “wish they could be Elon Musk-wannabes”, but in reality are just awful leaders with no real domain experience to go along with massive egos and inferiority complexes.

Each division head was given full autonomy to package and push out any competent middle managers that could have been seen as opposition, and replace those people with sycophants. Now you just have an organization full of talentless division leads and middle managers blindly following them.

LSEG D&A is past the point of saving, and will one day be a B-School study for “what not to do.”

The surge in LinkedIn activity highlights the desperation of employees looking to leave. From leadership to compensation, the company is failing its people in a major way.

The entire D&A leadership needs a complete overhaul—talented individuals are leaving, accelerating the collapse of an already sinking ship into a catastrophe worse than the Titanic.

Couldn’t agree more - this place is a complete mess, and the leadership is clueless. Counting down the days until I can get out of this joke of a company.

That's what happens when you bring in a mouth piece with unproven credentials. The fall out is always brutal. Sadly these so called "leaders" have no regard for the human side of the business. Funnily enough, if people are happy and feel engaged and feel like they are appreciated, it is amazing what results can be produced. Unfortunately, these peanuts have no concept. Sad to see a once proud company slide off the cliff.

It’s close to falling apart. Needs someone new to come in and completely revamp the staff and culture after the organization was destroyed by the three divisional heads.
