Just discovered this term and it describes my last 2 years at NCR. Look it up, do you agree?

Yup, Culture Rot, similar to a dying tree being consumed by mushrooms.🍄🟫
The CEO is not going to change anything. Hasn't answered any employee questions in town halls for a long time.
Morale maybe at an all time low at Voyix, Atleos is not but better from what buddies are saying.
Culture Rot is for real
It does not matter where you ended up after the split whether it be on the A of V side of the house. The way the companies, Managers and Leadership, treat their employees business partners and customers is unethical. They lack the morals they preach and have for years!!
The dirty things that happen and are allowed by management are nothing short of unethical.
Lady who suposedly retired was really good, customer loved her and her team, th3 manager who was re hired was not capable of doing any of the 3 manager jobs he had, now not qualified to account manage either.
Same manager that was rehired was such a loser, he went to Serbia to train his replacement’s on his own team, while there he brought a wife home from Serbia.
On top of that, NCR paid for his trip back to Serbia, made “make work” for him while he was marrying her in Serbia.
Nobody can defend this guy or the ethical principles that were violated, using your position to seduce and influence a female character employee in Serbia to be his wife.
Can’t make this stuff up, and rehiring him after RIF, how could anyone have any respect for this guy?
@xa Or Manger was a number on a spreadsheet and let go, turns out those in "account" support were not doing the job. Were those that were left really that good?
Here is a good example for everyone,
manager gets a RIF, manager collects the package for a year, manager collects unemployment. Now after 2 years the same manager gets hired back as an account manager, no experience handling any accounts, let alone a major account.
Manager has friends that “helped” get the new role.
The people that were under the account manager that left were way more qualified for the role than the manager that got the role, but it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.
Promote from within right? Nope, Hire the same loser you let go and paid out 2 years ago……
Seems any reference to any individual person is causing posts to be deleted even though people referenced are public individuals. There was a post here mentioning memory problems of a certain someone who is in a key position of the company.
@dj “We want to promote within and use internal applicants!” Hires someone from outside the company.
@ks every penny paid to an employee takes money out of an executive's bonus.
What really surprises me are the extended shifts and the fact that Voyix can afford to pay the OT. My TM is not the most inspirational in the world and our weekly calls are usually short and lethargic. I just don’t see much reason to stay to be honest and have been looking elsewhere.
Started in 91. And its been growing ever since.
@dj
If you are a current employee and can’t see it, you are clearly not paying attention.
Curious to hear some examples.
This does sound right.
"Culture rot" refers to the gradual, internal decay of a company's core values, leading to decreased morale, productivity, engagement, and increased cynicism, often caused by poor leadership and a disconnect between stated values and actual behaviors. This slow erosion of a positive organizational culture ultimately results in talent leaving and makes it difficult for the company to remain successful.
Yes, NCR (both parts) have been rotting from the top for over 20 years.
