Has anyone that signed up for the VRIF heard anything yet? I’m curious as to how many people actually signed up and how many will be IRIF’d on the 14th.

@18c
I am guessing a company wide email at 8:00am or not.
Remember, their transparancy is not transparent.
It’s Thursday 14th. Anyone heard anything yet?
@x1
Thursday is almost here. Has anyone heard of a number HR is looking for on the VRIF?
Who has the number? I have 555 and heard the number 739 out there.
@wa 2 weeks? Thats fast
@wa
Wouldn't it be nice if HR had a chat room for topics like this to address Employees questions and keep us informed of what is going on? I know this might asking a bit much, but with 25 HR employees at least 1 can keep us up to date.
@dn it’s not a 3-6 month process. US will be out in 2 weeks. UK have 6 week consultation. Other countries which are unionised will roll into the ongoing social plan discussions (so yeah - longer time). Other countries don’t know. But they will know the impact by mid-June so that is when next IRIF will start.
@bc
The 14th will be notice IF you have been so lucky. This will take time to "phase" them out, then they will slowly cut more employees as they see necessary.
We are looking at a 3-6 month process. As long as there is cash, the lights will stay on.
Funds will dry up, creditors will start calling, employees will leave on their own.
First quarter of '27 chapter 11 will be announced, due to the fact that they will not have the funds to pay the interest payment.
Best of luck to all.
Today was the close date. People should start hearing in the next week by the 14th.
@ae how the he-l do you know that!!!!
Most are riding to retirement so no worries.
I think 1 signed up and they need 12,000. I heard this from the janitor.
No updates, nothing. Not even a mention on how many they are trying to get to take the bait. There is nothing transparent about their transparency as they previously stated.
