Yup, 100% serious, I was but a lowly claims rep 10 years ago and they still would have meetings with us going over the insurance market and their plans. They did it. Allstate isn’t going to overtake them, we WILL keep falling further and further. This company is a complete dumpster fire, I’ve never seen anything like this

@wws+192i27nD - who do you think you are. I had been with Allstate for 35 year and worked my azz off. Yes I was a senior manager and our group had GREAT numbers and our productivity was the best in the company until Shapiro came in. So don't you dare ASSUME something you know absolutely nothing about.

All I can say is... not all of those that were laid off even took the “ budget IQ tests” and their entire position was eliminated. Saying that people are brain dead to have to mess those tests up, shows me you’re not very in tune with how they approached these. for all we know every test had the same score/ passing score so they used randomization to create the list of the lay offs. Why do you think no scores were provided. Also- . Saying that mostly Karen type people were the ones eliminated and no productive, good employees were let go- what an egotistical (albeit, Karen-esc) assumption to make- if anything, it’s people like the person that posted this that knew who to s— up to and land a promotion without much merit. A smokescreen, if you will. Many promotions I witnessed seemed to have more to do with who you know/ how to impress. And Allstate lost MANY well performing employees. Though, I will admit they kept a number of people who fake it til they make it and make others jobs difficult. But, hey- who am I... oh, a person who believes that no one deserves to be laid off- certainly not for falling into a social media fad. I pray that poster doesn’t find themselves without a job now- I’m 3 months out and still haven’t found a job to pay what Allstate paid. Not even using the LH resources the provided. “Apply once the pandemic slows down”
Maybe revisit your ego- it’s a little to large and it’s going to bite you in the future. Good luck to all Allstate employees- ALL of you. Allstate is not producing good marketing, better rates or customer service. Progressive and others aren’t doing anything but what works!

Everyone always complains that Allstate is archaic and isn't with the times. Now they're in a fight for survival with competitors stealing their business, and they're "transforming" by getting rid of all the negative people (what do you think these culture surveys are for), and are so brain dead that can't do well on the budget IQ tests, and moving to lower cost self-service like Geico has been doing forever and the lower cost processes brought by the esurance folks which immediately cratered as soon as it was acquired by Allstate. All the entitled Karens imagined that they'd be able to keep their low productivity positions with 1980s level of knowledge even if Allstate changed. 2021 doesn't work that way.
If there is a fair and just God Allstate will not exist in 5 years.
Well it’s just the same of how Allstate wants to take marker share from State Farm but never will. I used to think Geico was God awful but now...
